About this deal

Páčilo sa mi, že kniha veľmi nenásilne, a pre deti aj pútavo, vysvetľovala niektoré skutočnosti Ríma. Julius and his friends are shipwrecked and wash up on the shores of Egypt where, thanks to a series of happy coincidences, and to the disgust of his stupid brother Brutus, Julius is proclaimed a god. The first person might have worked better than a third person narrator, I expected to hear Julius talking to me directly. With the Egyptians beginning to realize that Julius is not quite what they thought he was; the zebra gladiator and his friends are soon fighting for their lives in a series of hilarious hijinks. This book made me want to find out more about history and this book made me want to get all of Gary Northfield's books.

I feel excited that I finished the book because Gary Northfield’s books are hilarious and I want to start the next one.

My favourite character is the warthog because he is always citing uninteresting facts, even at the very worst of times.

Whilst it was good to get to know the back story of the characters, I don’t feel that it actually lessened my enjoyment. Emperor Hadrian has one last favour to ask of the gladiator animals before he will grant them their greatest wish freedom. Julius Zebra – Rumble with the Romans is the 1st part of Gary Northfield‘s youth novel series about the crazy zebra Julius and his friends. His bestselling Julius Zebra series has now been translated into 18 languages worldwide and includes four books: Julius Zebra: Rumble with the Romans! Brimming with brazenly bonkers and clever jokes; this is the ideal handbook for kids with a budding comedic talent (and an essential guidebook for those without).sa dostávali do rôznych vtipných situácii a hoci boli také polepetká, boli aj veľmi odvážne a najmä milé. I prefer normal books because proper books give you more information about the characters and the story.
