About this deal

My only request is for people on both sides of the fence to simply… read on. I may confirm some of your beliefs, while simultaneously disagreeing with others. As I’ve preached many times over and over, I’m just one guy on the internet and I should not be your only source of impressions and/or criticisms.

The isolation is poor so you will hear every honk and every noise while on the move. I ride a bike so I prefer semi good isolation.

The Tanchjim Tanya are a warm harman-like set and are also bullet shaped with a non-detachable cable. Both sets scale better with amping, but the Tanya are easier to drive. So let me put this straight. I am coming from Focal Spark and sr850. Mic on focal went kaput within a few months and both the metal casings popped open last week. For a brand as renowned as focal, the quality turned out really bad. No complains on the sound quality though. Even the mic was really good while it worked. It's just that it worked for only a year. Anyway..

The cable is a little above average, but it has a tendency to get a bit of shape due to its unique plastic coating. Describing the sound quality of the BL-03s is easy, especially when you factor in the modest price: they sound fantastic. Now let’s break that down. Firstly, how these sound to you will certainly depend on how well you’re able to insert them in your own ears. The sweet spot is quite small, but once you hit it you’re rewarded with something really special, especially if you’ve never experienced IEMs before. The mids have a slightly forward presentation with an average weight. Articulation and clarity is great, instruments sound open and well-defined. However, there is a very slight bump somewhere in the upper mids that may sometimes give a hint of shoutiness but it is pretty minor and negligible most of the time. Smooth operator? Smooth criminal? The keyword to describe the E3000 is “smooth”, as Santana would say! Comparisons The mids on the Mangird Top are slightly recessed, but they're still clear and present. Vocals sound natural and realistic, and instruments are well-defined. The male vocals sound a little thin when compared to Tin Hifi T2 which is a mid-forward iem.

The Mangird Top has excellent technical performance. It has excellent detail retrieval, imaging, and soundstage. The IEM is also very well-tuned, with no noticeable peaks or dips in the frequency response. In this case, could you please try other cables or change the cable side to test whether the issue can be fixed? These buds have holographic and 3D soundstage and in my humble opinion, I dare say are a better listen when compared to higher priced iems that I own. Last but not least, it will offend people who hate tangly wires and forsake microphonic issues by being in the “wireless earbud user” category.

The Heart Mirror have boosted upper frequencies and treble extension. They have better transients, clarity, and micro-details, and are a more technical and analytical set than the E3000. The Heart Mirror have better isolation and come with detachable cables. Soundstage is more compressed on the Heart Mirror. On my BL-03 unit, it’s right side 0.78 2-pin connector is looser than the left, hence leading to sound imbalance on the right at times. Treble is remarkable in how it is tuned. It offers a relatively linear response, with just the upper frequencies that roll off and become inaudible. There’s a bump in the middle region, though, which helps with clarity and lends the sound air and space. The overall tuning is airy, pleasantly sparkling and never offensive. Those sensitive to treble will probably want to equalise it down half a notch, but everyone else will probably just enjoy it as it’s never aggressive, sibilant or excessively present. It’s also well detailed, so details emerge clearly and are always identifiable. There’s not a large presence of micro-details, but this is expected and it’s remarkable enough that there are micro-details at all.

The Vesna have better isolation. The Vesna come in two versions (detachable cable versus non-detachable cable), but when comparing the non-detachable variant to the E3000, the Vesna’s cable has better reinforcement. Where to Buy On Norah Jones’ “A Song With No Name, the treble was smooth with a lot of air and life. The guitar strings were full with a nice texture, and they sounded natural. Overall, the BL-07 has that clear and natural sounding mids. Voices and instruments are reproduced with a good sense of space. One of the better tuning of the mids I heard from BLON.
