Moon Magic

Use in Magic: A famous magical love herb; one of the three ingredients in Medieval True Love Powder. Use in Magic: Used to remove evil spirits from a home and to return evil to a person doing you harm. The February 5, 2010 episode of the investigative news program CBC Marketplace examined the health effects of Herbal Magic's optional supplement products. [5] The program and its independent experts determined there was insufficient empirical evidence to convince them that the supplements facilitate weight loss. Accordingly, the documentary claimed it observed Herbal Magic salespeople using tactics that lead customers to overestimate the supplements' effectiveness. Marketplace also interpreted Herbal Magic's practice of only telling customers the cost of the program after a free consultation as disingenuous. There are some great nods to the historical use of floriography (using flowers to send secret messages), plant intelligence, and old, alternative names for some herbs (e.g. “eye of newt” being mustard seeds). I liked the brief introductions to spell jars, kitchen magic, poppets and worry dolls, brews and teas, and altars. I found the Goddess section to be quite hit and miss; some of the information given was good, whereas in other places it was incorrect — and why just Goddesses? There’s no mention of any Gods.

Use in Magic: Placed under the mattress for love; carried to attract money and to dispel the Evil Eye. Use in Magic: Used in Hoodoo Goofer Dust; DRIED SCORPIONS, like Tarantula Sheds, can easily be fastened into Mirror Box or Bottle Spell to hold enemies in a state of fear, distress, or pain. We make no claims for this WHOLE DRIED SCORPION and sell it as a Curio only. I personally found this book to be very informative, especially for beginners. There’s quite a bit of general information in the opening chapters, so it’s perfect for people who are new to spell work as well. I also learned some information in the early chapters that I had no idea about, so you never know what you’ll find in this handbook that’s brand-new information to you! Plus, there’s a variety of spells at the end of the book that I think is great for anyone. However, I will say that this is definitely not the case with this book. As I mentioned Aurora Kane is very much a practicing witch and she has a great knowledge of the topic!
