As we are quite minimalists and wanted to not go overboard with accessories, we don’t have a baby bouncer or a stroller (we go around with baby in a sling or a wrap). It is more difficult to put baby in and out of if you use sleeping bags like we do as it's awkward but not impossible!If you’re worried about comfort, Koo-di also makes a great inflatable mattress that goes in it and is super comfy! What is also great about this travel cot is it can also double up as a safe play area, so you can get more value out of it. We arrived late on the Friday evening, and as the yurts do not have electricity we didn’t have much time to set everything up for the night before we lost the light. The koo-di, however, is true to its’ word- it really is lightweight, compact and easily transportable. The Koo-di pop-up travel cot is a great choice for travellers whether camping, staying somewhere over night, or heading further afield.

It comes with a neat little travel bag, which unlike many items I’ve experienced in the past, can be easily packed and unpacked without having to struggle to make everything fit! This is our first summer attempting to squeeze a family of five into a confined space, and we are sure that this cot will be invaluable to us this year. Suitable for use from six months to approximately two years, this travel cot comes in a range of fun designs. But it is effectively a stylish baby tent; it is made solely from poly-cotton and held together very well with plastic pins, it’s not designed for everyday long-term use. When assembled, the travel cot measures 100cm x 60cm x 69cm and folds easily into the included carry bag, measuring 60cm x 30cm x 18cm.Even if the mattress that goes with the crib is a little thin, I find it to be enough for a short trip.
