About this deal

Made for a King…or an Elf. The next time you enjoy a takeout pizza, keep the box. Your little elf will adore sitting there having his own little pizza party while waiting for Christmas to arrive. For this garland, I got the idea to take the family indoor snowballs and string them together. I was delighted at how easy this project turned out, and I love how cute they are. Here are the snowball garland post and all the details.

The best part is that you’ll already have most of the materials needed in your home, and some of the projects are crafted from waste items like cardboard inners from loo rolls, scraps of paper or missing jigsaw pieces. Other things you’ll be able to find in your home office, like rulers, scissors and old books – all of which can be easily turned into decorations. Start your party off with fun party games with an Elf theme. Such as Elf Charades from Mom & Munchkins. As a little girl, we had these old fashion lights. I spied strings of them in the Elf movie, so I decided early on that I would decorate with them. I happened to have some extra strings of outdoor lights, and I bought the ceramic white bulbs and just changed them out with the new ones. If you don’t have a white cord, then here is the link to a string of them. Create paper snowflakes and paper chains, then hang where you can enjoy them most. I used little mini craft clothespins to attach the snowflakes to the tinsel.

I decided to decorate with white and place a couple of splashes of pink. I did consciously let the white dominate the room since it creates cohesiveness rather than chaos. All the layers and textures are the keys to decorating like the movie Elf. In this case, more is better. One year, I decorated our living room with some paper book leaf garlands, and last year I decorated our mantel with a paper leaf garland. If you look closely, you can see it on my entertainment center at the top. Santa is coming from the North Poleand we have these free printable Santa worksheets to help your little ones learn the letter S. Who loves Christmas? ME ME ME!!! Who loves Christmas movies? More Buddy The Elf Fun I’m pretty short and I know it’s hard for me to reach the ceiling, so I I decided to hang mine from an archway between my dining and living room.

You see, every year when I start decorating our home for the holidays, my husband calls me Buddy the Elf. So, as you can see, you can make these decorations as crazy or as simple as you like and it still conveys that simplistic whimsy. How to make intricate paper snowflakes, paper chains, and paper chain snowmen Some Tips before you get started The Elf and Rapunzel have a little thing going to see who builds the best snow fort. He’ll use sugar cubes to make sure her snowballs don’t come crashing through. Of course, you’ll have to build her fort up pretty high so he can climb her hair to rescue her! Your little elf just wants to be part of the family, and it shows when everyone in the family is sporting a Rudolph nose for your Christmas photo. Give your little elf one, too, so he won’t feel left out. When it comes to Buddy, he has a special someone that he meets along his journey, and that’s Jovie!
