About this deal

At 16-inches, this is the perfect middle ground between large, cumbersome displays and petite portable tablets. There’s only one other button - the on-off button, which lives near the two USB-C ports and is held down to launch the on-screen display settings. I believe the reviewers who claim they have no wobble just test at the “fast” speed or faster since, as you can see, testing just that slight bit faster makes the wobble completely disappear. It was easy to set up (though, in the instruction booklet it didn't mention that you should plug the hdmi cable into the separate graphics card in your pc but this was easy to look up) and so far the tablet has shown no signs of wear and the pen pressure feels very natural and works perfectly.

Another thing I noticed is that the pen nib “creaks” slightly when using the pen tilted very far over. the experience is pretty good despite the wobbling lines problem but I do want to ask one thing about the screen, does the screen still hasn’t show a scratch still after this review was published? has anything and everything you need to paint and draw at a professional level, be it for illustrations or graphic design. The colours displayed are accurate and it was a relief to finally be able to choose colour palettes while drawing as I've had to deal with this issue in the past. The USB type-A and HDMI can reach around 60cm apart from each other, so it should be able to accommodate most normal workspaces and reach around most laptops, even if the HDMI and USB type-A ports are not right beside each other on your computer. We used the tablet on a fairly beefy gaming PC (equipped with an RTX 3070 Ti, a 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor and 32GB of RAM), a Huawei MateBook 14 laptop and a budget-friendly creative laptop - the Asus VivoBook.

The pen buttons protrude slightly from the surface of the pen making them very easy to find and use. I also tested the stylus for its tilt and pressure functions, testing its line performance with different brushes. The end of the stylus doesn’t have an eraser, but it is tapered, which personally felt more comfortable and lightweight to me than other styluses I’ve tried. Anyone new to using a dedicated display tablet likely won't notice the small criticisms, and industry veterans who have been using Wacom's products for years can at least appreciate how far Huion has come as a rival brand. It's been a long time since I attempted any digital painting and it's always been on my Wacom Intuos Medium Pro, the first model which they don't even manufacture anymore, and it's served me well for both photographic editing and digital art.

There is an option where if you just want to use it like a tablet without the screen then it is possible to do that. Professionals will enjoy using a device that makes their job of creating digital art and illustrations so effortless.

Some people might not be bothered or affected by the grain that interferes with white space, but I certainly noticed it while working on my Huion Kamvas Pro 13. Without a doubt, I wish the unit came with Bluetooth, or even a dongle set-up so you could use it wirelessly. actually feels like a viable professional-grade option, certainly for semi-professionals and those just starting out at a professional level.

Unless you intend to draw without connecting your laptop to a power outlet, you should usually be able to connect your tablet to a power outlet too. I demonstrate the speed at which you have to draw for wobble to show up in this unlisted Youtube video: https://youtu. Both of these are slightly larger, but otherwise hard to distinguish if you're not paying attention, as we discovered after switching the tablet off midway through sketching on several occasions. This is a great design choice because this means that the L-shaped cable can be flipped for left-handed use. I didn’t have any problems controlling my strokes and making both thin and thick lines was relatively easy. For the wobble test which I added after watching Brad Colbow’s review, I turned off all the stabilizer settings that I could find. You can see the tiniest bit of wobble in all of the pen angles tested, however, it’s such a small amount of wobble that we can safely ignore it.
