About this deal

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . The first main difference is that while TiO2 gives a nice broad spectrum protection, Zinc Oxide has an even nicer and even broader spectrum protection.

If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Furthermore, mineral sunscreens rarely cause skin allergies, something that cannot be said for chemical sunscreen. Unless there is an actual SPF number on your cream/powder guaranteeing UVA and UVB protection, then the answer is no. Since it is free of chemicals (which can absorb rays and cause heating of the skin), your skin will remain protected and cool.

The cons of the tinted sunscreen is I like it really slather a lot on and you can see that it doesn't completely rub in so what I do a lot now is use the Cotz sensitive and tinted together and it's a lot better. CōTZ Silky Foam SPF 30 (tinted or nontinted) is a foaming mousse that is exceptionally light and easy to spread. It's not sticky at all, so if you're an adult with dry facial skin and/or don't mind a bit of dewiness, it could work on the face, too. Because it is also a primer it has a silky feel to it and it is just tinted enough to even out my skin tone. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

A physical/inorganic sunscreen with pretty broad spectrum (UVB and UVA II, less good at UVA I) protection and good stability. As for hair care, it is a non-volatile silicone meaning that it stays on the hair rather than evaporates from it and smoothes the hair like no other thing. It is a polymer (created from repeating subunits) molecule and has different molecular weight and thus different viscosity versions from water-light to thick liquid. CoTZ sunscreen products also help prevent photo and cellular damage to the skin, whether it is airborne pollutants, wind or the damaging effects of radiation.

A2: All CōTZ products meet Reef Friendly guidelines, meaning they are 100% free of the chemical sunscreen actives Oxybenzone and Octinoxate, as well as all other chemical sunscreen actives. A recent, 2016 study shows that inorganic sunscreens work mostly by absorption, just like chemical filters, and only a little bit by reflection (they do reflect the light in the visible spectrum, but mostly absorb in the UV spectrum).

I compete in surfing competitions all around the world and travel frequently to compete, train, and surf! That’s because we use only the highest quality active and inactive ingredients, delivering excellent protection in formulas that are a pleasure to wear. It contains 20% zinc oxide and is pediatric dermatologist recommended to protect children’s sensitive skin. Since its founding in 2002, the CoTZ brand has been on a mission to deliver healthy, elegant mineral sunscreen protection that users can feel excited about putting on their skin every day for skin that feels good and is protected from harmful UVA/UVB rays.EltaMD sunscreens are known for their lightweight and non-greasy formulas, making them suitable for daily use. Discover Cotz, the ultimate sun protection brand offering a wide range of superior sunscreens for all skin types. Those that have kept up with my reviews (LOL) know that I really like that K-Beauty glow/near shiny look. I’m so happy to have stumbled across these two sunscreens as they were a much needed reprieve from Supergoop! Unlike chemical sunscreens, which absorb UV light on and into the skin and produce heat, CoTZ mineral sunscreen reflects and refracts UV rays away from the skin.
