Even though this lotion is very light and thin, because it has a beauty serum-like texture, which is a little bit different from many other j-beauty lotion textures, it stays on my skin very well.

Not trying to be oversensitive but I do think our society is going too far by classing a person by color.This hydrating Japanese lotion features an ultra concentrated blend of 7 types of hyaluronic acid to replenish and lock-in moisture. As many of you guys may know, hyaluronic acid is literally a game changer when it comes to skin care. No wonder that the Lotion P50 has a holy grail skincare product status in the skincare addicts’ community! Although this product may feel a bit tacky at first, the tackiness goes away as the skin absorbs the lotion.
Yes, a hydrating step with lots of humectants like hyaluronic acid is definitely a great thing for aging skin. In my skincare routine, I use the Hada Labo lotion morning and/or evening, before or sometimes instead of my serum.

I don’t solely use it, I use it straight after cleansing then once it’s soaked in use my usual moisturiser. I take a small amount in the palm of my hand (just a few drops), apply it quickly on my face and neck (I don’t forget the eye area! According to the brand, Super Hyaluronic Acid has hydration retention capacities twice as high as conventional hyaluronic acid.It’s a very simple plastic bottle, with a flap cap and it’s covered with inscriptions in Japanese (which are, for me, impossible to decipher).
