He lived in the laundry room and stole clothes from other people. This is my third favourite book in the Ottoline series but the first in the series. Since I love yellow and cats it's really perfect for me!

This book isn't so much about Ottoline living alone. Instead, it's a mystery. The local wealthy adults are being robbed and the police are without any tangible leads. The only clue is the fact that their recently adopted dogs have also gone missing. I liked Mr Monroe's character the best because of his big hair, which reminded me of Cousin It from the Adams Family. He was very brave for going to the top of Pepperpot Tower to look out into the rain. Chris Riddell was born in Cape Town, South Africa, where his father was an Anglican priest and a member of the ANC. The family moved to England in 1963, when Riddell was one year old, and he spent his childhood in a number of different locations, as his father moved between parishes.
