About this deal

I bought a Pax2 based on your review, as this is my first vaporizer. I was quite surprised at how hard it is draw off of the flat mouthpiece (the sipper) and how hot the other mouthpiece gets. It is extremely uncomfortable to use, even at the first draw. I also find that even though I am not drawing hard, a full chamber cannot give 10 pulls with good vapor. The first few must be sips as the vapor is so full and then you have to pull hard at the end to get any. And as it takes so long for the oven to cool down, the material really cooks out. Better than a flame, but perhaps I should have chosen a non-portable vape? Unfortunately, and despite how much I love the design and think the price is great and have always wanted a Pax 2, now that I'm using it, it simply doesn't do anything. It has no effect. Perhaps it's my technique or I've not been drawing correctly or something, but I've had numerous vapes - yes they were all of varying quality but all of them 'delivered'. I've tried different temp settings but it seems whatever I do, it just heats up and slowly cooks the product. You can see occasional clouds, but don't get the desired effect.

They need to be stretched out a few times because they’re made to fit the Pax 2 exactly, but you just slip them on (after session) and there’s literally zero odor. Remove the magnetic oven lid and fill your finely ground aromatic blends into the oven chamber. Replace the magnetic oven lid and power PAX 2 on by pressing down on the top button located within the top piece. PAX 2 will begin heating. To change the temperature setting, hold the top button for two seconds to enter temperature mode. Press the button again to cycle through the temperatures. Hold for two seconds to set your desired temperature. PAX 2's LEDs will show purple to indicate that it is heating, and the LEDs will turn green when it's ready to vape (green means go). PAX 2 detects motion, and will put your device in standy-mode when not in use, which conserves battery life and oven contents. PAX 2 charges in 2-3 hours via USB or AC wall adapter. I’ve tried each temp. setting and have made sure my bud is ground pretty well but I can’t see to get any kind of decent vapor. CBD Village UK. But it won’t apply to the quartet of default settings.

The downsides to this unit are the slower heat-up time and below-average battery life but the taste and cool temps of the vapor production are totally worth the wait. This is the best vaporizer for people who like a free-flowing draw. Pax 2 Review Summary Fully charging the battery to 100% will take between 2-3 hours if it’s completely depleted, and from a full charge you can expect at least 90 minutes of usage before it dies. It’ll last a tad longer on the lower heat settings – on level 2 I’ve been getting around eight 12-minute sessions which is not too shabby. Performance is pretty damn good considering how small this thing is. The amount of vapor you can get and the quality of it is definitely above average for a portable, and it does perform a little better than the original (when it’s clean :P). I really like how it performs well with both short and long draw durations, this allows people with different draw styles (like my wife and I) to both have a good experience when vaping together. Got the Pax this week and not happy with the way it draws. It seems you have to toke heavily to get a pull out of it, which is nothing like my Vapir no2 home unit. Any ideas toward improving this? I read your other responses and enjoy your info.I’m also going to post a follow up video for this vape to go over everything I added and show the unit more up close. To turn the PAX 2 on, simply press the center of the Pax 2 flat mouthpiece one time. The LED lights, or ‘petals’ as Ploom refers to them as, will begin to pulse purple to indicate the unit is heating up. The Crafty is awesome and I do think the unit itself has less of an odor than the PAX, but not totally odorless.

The Pax comes with an extra raised mouthpiece that is sort of similar to the original Pax. I’m not a big fan of it because it seems to get a little warm on the lips. Plus I really like the new flush design. No mouthpiece lube in this kit because you don’t need it! Just upgraded from an original PAX to the PAX3, although I haven’t used the consentrate insert yet, I was quite impressed by this unit. You pretty much know your herb is totally spent when it’s a darkened brownish color and it smells like burnt popcorn. They don’t include a USB wall adapter in the retail box (they’ll have one you can add-on) but these adapters are pretty universal so chances are you have one lying around somewhere already (have an iPhone?). If you happen to have the original PAX already the wall charger that’s included with that one can plug into the new model’s charger as well (see picture below). My original unit is pretty old though, I believe if you got yours more recently the charger looks a little different. In fact, one of our reviewers took the PAX 2 out for a night on the town and it was easily transported and stored in a small clutch purse, which was extremely convenient. The short battery life of the PAX 2 does impact its portability though as you may find yourself looking for a USB outlet to re-charge your unit after just a few sessions.Between a Summit and Pax2, which has better battery life and recharging options? I currently have a MFLB and love it, except for the necessary juggling, rebuying and recharging of multiple batteries. I’d say the taste is good overall, it’s above average for sure and flavor is improved over the original. It’s better in the beginning of your session but the vapor is always pretty pure, and for its small size the vapor quality is actually pretty impressive.

I can’t tell whether it’s the lip sensing technology zapping me with a little bit of electricity or the hot case burning my lip… but something is definitely irritating my inner lip.BONUS the old Pax charger will unplug from the base and plug into the new magnetic USB charging on the Pax 2. So you can charge the Pax 2 directly from the wall with your old Pax charger which is pretty cool. Pax 2 Accessories Charging Times– Not only does the Pax 2 give you above-average battery life from a single charge, but it also charges faster than a lot of other units. I’ve found the Pax 2 to fully charge from dead in about 100 minutes. i have a grinder that works well. i’m going to Invest in a finishing grinder. i can see how Dry/ fine grind is the way to Vape! Pax 2 Mouthpiece Options– I really like the discretion and concealment offered with the flat mouthpiece design. The mouthpiece is completely different from the original Pax model and it sits flush with the top. There’s basically no way that you could tell what it was because it doesn’t have a mouthpiece. Hey Bud Im a new customer to Pax and just purchesd “Pax 2”. Have you experienced lip burning from the newest model… I find that I get the most comfortable hits with the new model lip piece rather than the other… Look forward to hearing from you thanks
