Our award-winning bubbles are the original giant bubbles that people all over the world are raving about! If you have followed our journey over the last 13 years - from my kitchen table and three kids in tow, to market stalls, to pop-ups, to garden shed, to large scale festivals, to retail, to factory, to eviction, to rehoming, to further growth, and finally to today, and to outsourcing, you will know what a ride it’s been. Because every single one of our Bubbles is filled with love, and every single kit is filled with at least a thousand Bubbles, and for this year alone, for the number of bottles of Dr Zigs we sold, there were approximately 20 MILLION Bubbles in the world. We made a video for a presentation that I had promised a company three days ago; we tested new mix; I had news that a parcel of Bubbles heading into Ukraine, to Bucha, reached the first leg of it’s journey.As if I wasn’t busy before all this started - I guess it’s one of those things - you fit the work into the available time - although actually a lot of jobs have also simply had to take a back seat. In the very nice bag, it came with a bottle of ready-to-go bubble mix, a bottle of paint, a straw, a foamer and some instructions.

Plus, although we make everything ourselves in the UK, we import some of our wood from Germany from a sustainable woodland and we’ve worked closely with our supplier to make sure the paperwork is correct. A year in the life of Dr Zigs , looking at our ambitions and dreams, how these have played out, and of course the challenges too and the utterly unexpected. It’s about having a toy that is made for sharing, and a product that is designed to make people smile.

Through the years, Dr Zigs has gone from strength to strength as it manufactures giant bubble toys which have been designed to give children hours of fun and learning. It’s especially about the kids in refugee camps, who for a few moments, with the Bubbles can have a moment to just be kids. I am SO looking forward to meeting up with ALL of you wonderful friends and toy industry peeps over the next couple of weeks! Although it has been a challenging year with Covid-19, Paola has seen the joy bubbles give people during difficult times so she is determined to keep producing bubbles and prepare for the new rules.Our original Ready-To-Go giant bubble mix is our most popular mix and growing more popular everyday!
