very easy to use,although the solution tank is on the small side,it just means you have to top it up more frequently got. Last note about the assembly: you do need to be competent with a screwdriver but nothing more - it was easy and the photos, though small, helped. Unlike earlier generation machines, the carpet is much drier after cleaning and is normally bone dry after 12 hours. I’ve had the cleaner just over a year now and despite regular cleaning including the brush bar each time it is used it has dripped dirty water all over my white and cream carpets which has now stained them.The better your problem and question is described, the easier it is for other Bissell owners to provide you with a good answer.

So firstly the negatives, it's heavy, it's fine when you're just pushing up and down the carpet but carrying it up and down stairs is not easy. Secondly, it was blatantly obvious from the first pass with the cleaner that it was hugely more effective than the last. The after picture didn't catch the difference very well but the dirty water shows how much dirt it picked up. The rug is now cream in all but one or two stubborn spots and is definitely a lot cleaner, not just cleaner looking. As I started cleaning the dirty water in the tank appeared just slightly grey and I thought it wasn't doing much lifting the dirt, but when I went to empty the tank -well, the picture speaks for itself.When we did remove them it revealed parts full of a black sticky mess that cannot be got to following the cleaning guide that comes with the machine or be seen and this is what has caused the dirty water to drip out down the sides which has ruined my white and cream carpets ! We even got in a professional team to clean the living room carpet, yet even they couldn't get it anywhere near as clean as this amazing machine has done. The StainPro 6 includes a 3” Tough Stain Tool, and a Crevice Tool, for use with the attachment hose. But if you have a pet that’s having accidents or high traffic areas with kids etc it is a pain to keep clean plus over time the dirt will build up pet or not unless you pull it to pieces each time to clean it.
