About this deal

The final dry down is quite powdery/musky and puts me in mind of frags I used to wear in the 70’s and eighties, sort of a “Jovan Musk Lite”. Here's the thing, evey perfume has story to tell and it completely depends upon individuals on how they listen to it, some fall in love instantly, for some it may grow on them and some might just hate it. First ran into this fragrance back when I was 16 years old in my friends room and my first thought on the fragrance was that it was a bit off putting and smelled like a complete musk bomb.

Vetiver is known for its distinctive aroma, and in this fragrance, it adds a touch of ruggedness and masculinity. Possibly old fashioned to some peoples tastes but I find it sweet and it gives me confidence all day long whilst knowing I’m not trying too hard to impress anyone and the only people who are going to smell it are those I’m either cuddling or sharing a car with. The dry-down of Burberry Touch is complemented by soft musk, which adds a subtle sensuality to the overall composition. The most prominent notes of the opening are the violet flower, which has a beautiful smell, and from the components of the heart, I find black pepper and something of a woody scent. Lol, and this smells nothing like the great Bal d'Afrique, or Prada Amber Pour Homme, or Versace Dreamer, or a few others that dissapeared from the 'reminds me of' list after I thumbed them down.Because there is no decorative packaging, we can purchase these items for less and pass the savings on to you. It’s not going to make any bold statements but if you just want to smell fresh, clean and professional (not shower gel or laundry soap) you can’t go wrong with this. Burberry Touch can be best described as the scent you would wear when taking your grandparents out to brunch.

Starts bitter-aromatic with very clear accords of violet leaf, artemisia and some petitgrain combined with black pepper and that's where my enthusiasm finished. Burberry Touch EDT opens with a moderate projection of ozonic, sweet, citrus, green, and spicy notes. There’s not a lot of progression but the scent does smoothen out as time passes and on my skin gets better with time.I do not find it a unisex perfume, rather it is a masculine perfume, but it is not rough or harsh, although I own a large number of perfumes, and I smell more, but I did not find a perfume similar to this, so it is a unique perfume, and through my experience this perfume is admired by women when It is worn by men. I have received more compliments from this budget friendly daily fragrance than some of my higher end options. Weak silage/projection is a GOOD thing for this frag: this is something you want someone close to you to notice. It's probably the most evocative fragrance I own, and I've never really smelled anything like it, personally speaking. I'm not sure this is as unique as it was back in when I wore this, since everyone back then wore Curve and Cool Water, but it is inoffensive and you may even draw a compliment.

Violet Leaf, Artemisia, and Mandarin Orange are the top notes; White Pepper, Cedar, and Nutmeg are the middle notes; while White Musk, Tonka Bean, and Vetiver are the base notes. Nothing too special at least to my nose I bought a small bottle relatively cheap but it's a scent that is very forgettable at least to me.Burberry Touch For Men features top notes of Artemisia, Violet Lead and Mandarin Orange and middle notes of Cedar, White Pepper and Nutmeg and base notes of White Musk, Tonka Bean and Vetiver, a cool combination which is strong and distinctive. I originally picked this up while on vacation in Las Vegas shortly after it’s release and loved it . Once Burberry Touch EDT has reached its full dry down, it can be summarized as a low projection, ozonic violet leaf, white musk, spicy white pepper, sweet tonka, and woody cedar fragrance with faint herbal, citrus, and green notes.

This is what I wanted Versace Pour Homme to be, but the VPH had a sharp synthetic note that my nose didn't like. Designed by Fabien Baron, the bottles mirror the shape of a spool of thread, a subtle reference to Burberry’s history of fine tailoring. It doesn't ever feel like it's projecting, but again, my wife says she can smell it from a few feet away for the first hour or so. Although it's still warm outside most days where I live so I'm thinking this will be even better as a 'tweener' for fall and spring when there is cool air.

This does not evoke a spiciness, just a numbing synthetic vapor designed to make you apathetic, and even that makes it sound more imposing than it is. The fragrance opens with a fresh and spicy top note of artemisia, mandarin, and violet leaves, which blends seamlessly with the heart note of nutmeg, cedar, and white pepper, adding a touch of depth and complexity to the scent. A challenging mix of bitter petrichor (smell of rain on warm dusty pavement) with a bite of harsh white pepper. The longevity of Burberry Touch Eau de Toilette is impressive, as it lasts throughout the day without needing frequent reapplication. Even with the newer bottle I got from Ross, I still get 7-9 hours of performance, with a good 2-3 hours of moderate projection.
