About this deal

Pepper Potts' hair is also a more vibrant shade of tiger orange, and scenes with fire ignite the screen with a mix of marigold and rich orange. As an arrogant and boastful billionaire with a witty, snarky tongue to match, the adaptation is both a departure from the source material and amazingly faithful.

Iron Man has actually already been released in 4K in Germany (a disc we reviewed here), although not by Disney, and the difference is immediately noticeable in terms of both detail and - perhaps even more pronounced - the implementation of the colour scheme.

Extras: Language(s): 4K: English, 4K: Italian, Latin Spanish, French, Blu-ray: English, Italian, Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English, Subtitles: 4K: Italian, Norwegian, Latin Spanish, Swedish, French; Blu-ray: Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish, Interactive Menu, Screen ratio 1:2.

the original review did not offer any coverage, find below a very brief exploration of each supplement.

s Tony Stark remains an interesting sort-of twist to DC's equivalent non-super-powered millionaire technology-reliant superhero, Batman, and, with that kind of hindsight, it's easier to swallow the fact that - against initial expectations - he would go on to be the most important character in this universe. For this Ultra HD edition, the same bonuses from the previous release are ported over and available only on the accompanying Blu-ray disc. There’s an interview with Iron Man suit artist/consultant Adi Granov, who spent months adapting it from his comic book art to a workable suit for a real person. The score also enjoys outstanding fidelity and warmth, and the vocals are very well-prioritized and crystal-clear.

Unfortunately, this 4K UHD release doesn’t contain Disc 2 of the for the 2008 Ultimate Edition of the Iron Man Blu-ray. playing the wealthy playboy and industrialist Tony Stark, whose superhero alter ego is essentially a weaponized metal suit, seems like an improbable match. After taken hostage Tony agrees to build a Jericho missile, with the promise he would be released once it was completed. It’s easy to forget this nowadays, but when Iron Man was first released back in 2008, it was perceived as the underdog. Instead issues of surveillance and over regulation took the lead, softening Tony Stark who in this movie spends untold dollars on a mega-suit to save civilians from insurgents, but then takes off, leaving them in total poverty.
