About this deal

Again, these might seem minor but really change the base game and can increase the replay value as well.

If you already have a dexterity game you really like and you don’t play it that often, Men at Work might not have enough there to completely change your stance on the genre.Otherwise, it gives me everything I want while sticking to the familiar formula of building a structure and hoping it doesn’t fall. Everything is done very professionally with this company and always lets you know every step of the process. At first glance, it looks like the type of family/kid's game you'd find in the toy section of Wal-Mart but I assure you, this game is just as enjoyable for adults as it is children and has a great deal of strategy, requires honed spacial awareness skills and an understanding of physics.

It also has the right amount of charm to not make you feel too crushed when you ruin all the impressive work you and your opponents have built together. The surest footholds are usually closer to the table, while girders grow more skewampus with every inch of elevation, often in ways that aren’t immediately apparent because Men at Work doesn’t usually soar all that high. The precarious nature of the game is also one of its minor shortcomings, as the gentlest nudge of the table could send everything toppling.

Whether you like dexterity games or not, Men at Work is a lot of fun, even after players have been eliminated, as that structure is going to come crashing down at some point, it’s just a question of who will do it! Men At Work is a stacking and balancing game in which players compete as workers on a job site who are carefully constructing a tower to avoid accidents and, maybe, earn Employee of the Month. Not only are the visuals extremely appealing but the game play is variable enough that it remains interesting even after multiple rounds.Designed by Rita Modl and produced by Pretzel Games, Men at Work will test your dexterity and have you building to dizzying heights. Although player elimination can work in games like Sub Terra, Men at Work is proof that sometimes, it’s a bad idea. Men at Work is indeed their project that seems more non-gamer friendly, and it works for what it does.
