But I wore it to work today and idk maybe it was the environment change but something made it super beautiful! I was hoping for a good dupe for Oud Satin Mood but I’m just left with a very displeasing strange scent. One of my favorite frags ad if you spray it on your clothes you can still smell the vanilla 2 days later.
It works as a clone, it probably isn't one for one but I would give it about 70% and if not, it definitely has its place as a standalone creation. YouTube is full of reviews of this scent - the word out is that this is a ‘beast’ - projects like crazy- lasts forever. I bought Oud Satin for myself but my mother decided that going forward I'll find it in her wardrobe.The fragrance opens with a luscious and sweet note of Vanilla, setting a sumptuous and indulgent tone right from the start. I only noticed the Lychee note other reviewers mentioned when I spray on paper, not on skin or clothes. Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer.Sweet, candied, strong rose fragrance, the oud is obviously there but I find it's buried under the sweetness, rose, and even some vanilla.
MFK's oud satin mood smells a lot better than this because you could smell the oud and the rose is a lot more naturally floral smelling. The perfume is unisex, beautifully blended, has moderate to strong projection, and has excellent longevity.I'm still exploring this scent but for me it's powdery, a touch of sweet woody oud and I want rose, and love rose but I'm not getting a lot of rose. This was delivered over the weekend and I tried it while at home and at first I wasn't sure about it, something came off as bitter and sharp. Its definitely good blend of oud and rose which represents combination of feminine and masculine personality thats why perfect unisex fragrance that can be wear both man and women. Oud Satin makes me think of thick pieces of premium quality Turkish delight, dusted with icing sugar, served on a stainless steel plate with dry ice fog floating around it. Somewhere far behind the curtain, a smoke chord sounds here and there, complemented by a drop of cognac, enjoyed in a leather chair, which gives a nostalgia-smoothed, bitterly animal note again covered with roses and ouds.
