From the RG ν Gundam’s head unit, all the way to its leg unit, there isn’t any part of the RG ν Gundam that you will find to be lacking in the matter of details. Because even though I can understand their reasoning in removing that bit out from the RG ν Gundam, so they could make way for more articulation on the body unit to be made possible.better yet will it even go as far to dethrone the RG Sazabi off from its current title of the best RG of all time? Well not quite, despite how positive things are with this RG kit, I do admit that there is one thing that I’m quite bothered by. But its kind of frustrating to see them going great lengths in creating the awesome details seen on the other sections of the RG ν Gundam but not going far enough to figure out a middle ground on including a proper cockpit area while still giving it that some articulation on the chest unit. Note that kits which are molded in their final colors will always look better when painted, even if this is not required. Regardless of that fact, I still strongly believe to really make full of use of the poses that you can pull off with the RG ν Gundam it is still best for you to get a stand. The build is really quite simple when you get down to it, there's not a ton of small pieces that you need to deal with which is great because I can't really stand tiny pieces going on tiny places (looking at you RG Exia).Kits that we have rated as skill level 4 require all the same modeling techniques and tools as skill level 3. For resin, white metal, soft vinyl and photo-etched materials, the use of instant type cement is strongly recommended. I kept finding myself feeling quite frustrated by it and there were many times that I felt like giving up on it. To properly complete a level 3 kit, you should have at least a basic set of modeling supplies, including plastic nippers, a hobby knife, files and/or sandpaper, plastic cement, instant (cyanoacrylate) cement (for resin, soft-vinyl or metal parts), painting supplies including brushes, paint, thinner and masking tape, tweezers and possibly decal softener for applying decals to difficult areas. No matter what poses you may have in mind, you can rest assured that the RG ν Gundam would be able to hold that pose, no questions asked.
