The subwoofer bypass connection on the back panel allows you to quickly toggle the subwoofer on and off with a footswitch to easily check your mix with or without the bass extension.

They are near field monitors meant to be used about 4 to 5 feet apart and angled in towards the listener. The options at the rear of the subwoofer allow for varied adjustments which compensate for room acoustics or they offer more control for satellites attached.This is possible with a bypass foot pedal – unfortunately this is not included and can be purchased separately. I'm happy to say that at normal listening levels the sub seemed to be barely ticking over, so it has plenty of headroom on tap for those brief 'turn it up' moments.

The only caveat is that the lower your monitoring system goes, the more the sound is impacted by imperfect room acoustics, but at least having a separate sub enables you to move it around to find the placement that gives the most even bass.There is no power on / off switch, connected to the mains the SUB will operate when the T10S input circuit detects a signal.

Obviously, to do this, the cut-off frequency must be low enough not to affect the reproduction of the medium frequencies, starting from the medium-low ones and even more so if you choose a configuration down-firing.When you purchase a sofware licence you are effectively purchasing a code that will allow you to use the acquired software on your computer.
