About this deal

Hi Jane, Looking forward to making this cake for a birthday but I have 5 18inch tins, do you think the current quantity will be enough or maybe adding an extra 1/3 or so of ingredients? I want to make it again for my sisters birthday however I was thinking of swapping Oreo for kinder bueno (her fav), do you think this would work? You mention that you need to add the cookies to the filling right before assembling the cake so they don’t get soggy. Allow the ganache to firm up a bit, then pipe the remainder of the frosting around the top edge of the cake (see my tips on making a chocolate drip cake) and add an Oreo between each swirl. Sugar, wheat flour (calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), whole dried egg, raising agents: E450, E500, concentrated whey protein ( milk), modified starch, emulsifiers, E471, E475, E481, cellulose fibre, skimmed milk powder, stabiliser E414, colour E160a, whey powder( milk), salt, cocoa powder.

If you plan to decorate the outside of the cake with more Oreos, as shown, you might need a second package. I found using the Oreo Buttercream easier to cover the sides for some reason (not entirely sure why! In a large mixing bowl, add your cream and beat with an electric mixer (or by hand with a whisk) until soft peaks form. Also für Leute die auf richtig süße Süßigkeiten stehen, die gerne auch ein bisschen künstlich schmecken ist das genau das richtige. I am such a big fan of desserts made with Oreos, as you can see with from all my dessert recipes made with Oreos. So naturally, I have done my best to dream up as many cakes featuring Oreos as my imagination will allow. Could I incorporate the chocolate ganache drip in between the cake layers with the Oreo filling instead of doing the drip on the outside? This recipe consists of soft vanilla and Oreo cake layers, topped with a super smooth Oreo buttercream frosting – YUM!

In a stand mixer, beat the room temperature butter with an electric mixer until it is smooth and loose and then beat in the icing sugar 1/3 at a time until its fully combined. One of my Dad’s work colleagues had their last day recently, and I wanted to bake something special as they have been one of my taste testers, and she’s so lovely… so I went for a Drip Cake. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. To serve, place the extra plain whipped cream in a small piping bag with round tip and pipe the cream around the edges and then add extra sprinkles on top. My goal with this blog is to give you the fun, laughter, confidence and knowledge to bake and cook whatever you fancy!

I bought a big bag of Birthday Cake Oreos home with me from the USA and I knew JUST how to use them. Add the butter in cubes, piece by piece, on medium speed with mixer on until all the butter has been incorporated. Choose from our delectable egg free sponge cakes which are layered with luxury mixed fruit / chocolate spread and freshly whipped cream filling. Next add in half of your premixed dry ingredients to your wet mixture, and gently fold it in with a spatula until just combined. I use a fair amount based on my method of how to decorate a smooth cake (linked in the recipe instructions above).Do a first layer of around the edge and top using a large metal scraper and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Instead, it’s just whipped cream and Oreos folded into a mixture of cream cheese and powdered sugar. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F, line the bottom of three 8-inch cake pans with parchment paper circles, and grease the sides.
