Side note here: Chance got a bit on my nerves, so I could never feel bad about Knox going after Ava. A captivating pear shape, curvy in all the right places, small perky breasts, and — man, you were beautiful.

Our darlings are going through some very sad and heartbreaking and serious issues and the reader just wants to fast forward to when they can all live happily ever after in their new and perfect lives! I could've been happy, had I felt you were in a good situation, but the man you married didn’t love you just the way you were, not like I did.His dad is a real estate millionaire, his mom (who was assaulted and never really recovered from that) took her life when Knox was twelve. I think though that if I am still thinking about a book almost a week later then that says a lot about the book. Their little interactions, the honesty with which they eventually relate to each other, it really pulls you into the story. A love that braves adversities and rises victorious and ever stronger from it, I am in awe of the beautiful execution of the emotions.

Dear Ava by Ilsa Madden-Mills is the first book by this author that I have read, and I am beyond thrilled to have found her. I love that this book teaches the art of patience, and how tragedy can form you into something new, something better. The last chapter of the book was honestly my favorite part of the book because we got to see Knox and Ava being more mature yet still madly in love with one another. Their connection is incredible, their chemistry exquisite, their passion for one another overwhelming, and their strength took my breath away. There were a lot of moving parts to this story, many of which were emotionally exhausting, but I was just so caught up in the wonderful writing and by the engaging plot, that I couldn’t help but fall hard and fast for Ava and her very, very dreamy hero.She gets into the prestigious Camden Prep School in Sugarwood, Tennessee on scholarship, and wants to fit in. I picked this up as a freebie at the start of this year after reading several of this authors books and realising how much I like them. Both of them took care of their families remain loyal to their friends and sort out their priorities. But that all changed when her desire to be one of them left her drugged and raped and feeling destroyed.

I think it's so hard to have such a serious plot and weave a romance into it but Ilsa Madden-Mills pulled it off, and the overall result was great and the ending made perfect sense.Despite of the obvious youthful way they handled themselves with, the lead characters were also strong and wise beyond their years which was acknowledged and reflected in their actions. I wasn’t sure where the story would go from there, but her bravery and fighting spirit just had me cheering her on! honestly, reading Knox's character just made me depressed just because guys like him are super-duper rare in real life and i've said this before and i'll say it again: there's plenty of fish in the sea but there's also more trash sooo.
