I used when my boy (DD1) was 22 months because he was very active and I wanted to have him restrained, otherwise he would have just walked or run away from me. The seat does stick out pretty significantly so instead of bending over to push them I have taken to standing off to my daughters right side (just the most comfortable for me) and pushing like that. Unfortunately the steering wheel doesn’t fit on with the the carrycot on but it will do once baby is in the seat unit for the pram. I also have to use handle bar fully extended so I have enough space to walk behind it but again, Im 5ft with short legs so don't have big strides but could imagine it being a problem for others.
