About this deal

She wonderfully tells the story of 3 sisters who are separated due to unfortunate events and misgivings. Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first. This is a first knowledge book for small children, with lively drawings and a kaleidoscope wheel on every page. You guys are such a force for good and I am a passionate supporter of Indie booksellers, so I'm so happy this worked out well (I'd love to know how many books were sold if you have it to hand - it felt like quite a lot!

A story of three girls left to be on their own when their actor father kills his pretty wife and commits suicide himself. Although it has been designed with autistic children in mind, it is suitable for all children - ideal bedtime reading! When John Chapman, lawyer and prestigious private investigator, is asked to find these three women, he wonders why. Two people meet and miss one another again and again in these short chapters that move through time. Please note that this will mean a delay in receiving your parcel as customs can take 1-2 weeks to process a parcel, though it is sometimes faster. I borrowed this from the library but I'm thinking about getting my own copy, which seems a pretty good reason to knock this up to five stars. Tres vidas, tres historias que nacieron unidas y que la tragedia las separa, y cada una en un giro de un caleidoscopio tienen una vida tan diferente. The story revolves around two lovers who marry and start a family, only to be torn apart by a tragic misunderstanding.

The book is therefore a delight for reading together or alone, and the weight of the volume will provide considerable satisfaction to novice readers. Biography: Nicola Baxter has written or compiled more than three hundred titles, and particularly enjoys the marriage of words and pictures that children's books entail. The eldest, Hilary, will have to learn and grow with each new task she is faced with growing up, waiting for the day where she may possibly reunite with them once again, and the day where she confronts the person who tore her family apart. This experience has been fantastic primarily for the children, the school and also for me (professionally).

There are also wonderful illustrations that engage the reader with similar concepts on a visual level. The colour movement is here, welcoming colour into the home whether it be brilliantly bright and bold, or soothing, subtle and subdued. Alexandra, raised in lavish wealth, marries a powerful man whose pride is his pedigree and who assumes that Alexandra is her parents' natural offspring. Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do.As the poems range back and forth across the years, one memory provoking another, it is not only the whole of the poet's life laid out in the pieces of glass to be endlessly rearranged, but the whole of the human condition. Here he takes an illustration and turns it first into a kaleidoscope image, only revealing the actual image after the page turn. But once I started it,I was totally engrossed into the way its story was enfolding, it being so gripping and heart wrenching at times that i could finally keep it down only once I had read the happy ending it so truly deserved. While each tale seems like a sliver of a larger story we'll never learn, we get the impression that we're hearing the best part. I enjoyed, "growing up' with Hilary and the other characters, as the story seems to begin anew each time a character is introduced, they each have their own quirks, as well as weaknesses revealed throughout the story.
