About this deal

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. You can happily load it in a high-end Leica, a 70s SLR, or a plastic reloadable camera and know that you're going to get good and consistent results without having to think too hard! Better color fidelity than Gold 200 – again, when C41 processed – which always turns out garishly yellow to my eyes. I was initially very disappointed with the grain until I realised that Unsharp Masking (USM) plus Clarity that I would usually apply to a digital file when processing in Affinity Photo brings out the grain to an alarming extent.

This ease-of-development is possible because it’s an industry-standard C41 film as opposed to the more specialized slide or black-and-white film. A larger objective diameter allows more light to enter the binoculars, resulting in brighter images, especially in low-light conditions. A comparison I made with both films shot on the same sunny day and processed and scanned at the same lab, delivered results (from Olympus OM (50mm lens)) that were virtually indistinguishable, unless pixel peeping. Colour is nicely, but not overly saturated and realistic when given full exposure, with good definition, moderate grain, and good sharpness. It first appeared in 1972, under the name of Kodacolor II, was made in the 110 film format, and was rated at an ISO of 100.

Also I don't use a scanner so the files from my digital camera always need a little help to get over the slight softness from the interpolation. I’d always err towards giving it more light than less, as it can quickly look muddy when underexposed. The 36-exposure version of the 35mm value film, the Kodak ColorPlus 200 is a great option for photographers on a low budget. By giving Colorplus a bit of extra light, you can counteract some of the muted or muddy look you might get in less than ideal lighting.

Certainly, getting even close to correct colour is really tricky with thin negatives the way I go about it, though the built in conversions with a film a scanner would be less trying I imagine. I ran a roll through my Retina IIc on a walk around Dunedin including the rhododendron display in the Botanic Gardens and the urban wall art that has been encouraged, and the graffiti that hasn’t been, around the city centre and elsewhere.Especially when shot in overcast conditions, the film generally renders a lifelike image with somewhat muted blues in the skies (unlike Ektar 100, for example).

The results were good but negatives were much redder than the usual dull orange making filtration for printing tricky in darkroom days. A shorter close focus distance allows birdwatchers to observe small details on nearby birds, and is especially important for insect observation. It sells well and has become hard to track down as it flies off the shelves during this year in which supply chains and manufacturing have been stressed. It was originally intended for everyday photos and for amateur photographers, but experienced photographers can easily make standout shots with the same humble roll of Kodak ColorPlus. Even though a few of them were taken during "golden hour" there was considerable cloud cover above, and the sunset/sunrise hues of colour are not too noticeable.

So helpful in answering any and all questions I had, have bought two cameras from here now and I know I'm always getting top quality. My name is Bastian and I am your expert here when it comes to ultra wide angle lenses, super fast portrait lenses (ranging from a 50mm f/0. In the smartphone era, when it seems that everyone considers themselves to be a decent photographer, there's still a way for anyone who wants to take their photography to the next level.

This was a very convenient kit of single use glass phials of concentrate which had snap off ends, now no longer available. Despite being only ISO200 I did also use it for some indoor shots with artificial light which it handled well (this might also be in part thanks to the Silbersalz processing though): Leica M6 | MS-Optics 35mm 1. It’s probably because of the ECN2 processing, but in my experience Color Plus doesn’t have the yellow tint that Gold 200 brings. The exit pupil is the small circle of light you see when you hold the binoculars at arm's length and look through the eyepieces.
