About this deal

As far as the transfer goes, compression artifacts are only visible once or twice in a couple of the darker scenes, there aren’t any print damage problems (obviously), and edge enhancement and line shimmering is kept to a bare minimum. The nun footage looks like something shot for Farmer’s nunsploitation anthology Nundead and the segment we see after the events of the film, while funny, has nothing to do with the plot either.

On tonight’s episode of Debbie Does Demons, Debbie (Angel Nichole Bradford, Wolf Hollow, Backwoods Bubba)tells us the story of Carmilla Karnstein (Jessa Flux, Murdercise, Satan Lives: The Rise of the Illuminati Hotties). Farmer has said Debbie Does Demons started out as his attempt to makes a film like Witchfinder General. As far as modern day shot on video exploitation throwbacks go, Debbie Does Dallas is, in all seriousness, a good bit of goofy fun. If that is the case, you can’t really blame him, when you’re filming on that kind of budget you really can’t afford to waste footage.Seemingly shot by Farmer on his cell phone while sitting in his car, he talks about working with Flux and the other cast members, Rob Zombie's decision not to use a fake trailer he shot with Camille Keaton and being inspired to make his own witchfinder movie, films that influenced his project and more. She actually looks like a trailer park version of the female vampires from the films of Jean Rollin and Jesse Franco.

Great film , Donald Farmer back again with a cool entertaining film , Jessa Flux , Angel Nicole Bradford, Morrigan Thompson . While Debbie (Angel Nichole Bradford) is a lot of fun and Carmilla Karnstein (Jessa Flux) does her part to ham and bare all for the picture, the script just isn't much, the sets look like they were shot at an airBnB, the effects are sorely lacking, and the film fails to live up to is promise. There’s also footage of vampire nuns presented as part of Debbie’s show that has the feel of their work as well.Four friends are playing with a Ouija board when they bring back the spirit of witch Carmilla Karnstein (Jessa Flux) and soon she turns two of them into demon slaves. Whether or not you like how it turned out will depend on your tolerance for cheesy send ups of genre clichés and willingness to overlook some obvious gaffes, such as anachronistic inscriptions on the tombstones, obviously blown lines of dialogue and characters who need to have things they already know explained to them. Needless to say that there was an unnecessary amount of pointless nudity throughout the course of the 74 minutes that the movie ran for. Debbie is a paranormal tv show host who’s fans start getting murdered by a witch named Carmilla Karnstein summoned from the 1600’s by an ouija board.

She talks about playing the titular character in the film, how she came to be involved in the film after having worked with Farmer previously, details on shooting specific scenes in the film, some of the locations that they used, what she learned from making this movie, some of the effects work that her work entailed and how she feels about the movie overall. If it was a little more exploitative, if the gore was more prominent and shocking, maybe there would be something to recommend this one. She’s just so genuine and strong and pretty and positive vibes that it works perfectly for becoming and absolute indie horror scream queen legend. The acting performances in "Debbie Does Demons" were amateurish, wooden and rigid, to say the least. Which means Debbie Does Demons may be whatever footage had been shot for that reworked with Debbie as the witch huntress and filled out with other footage presented as segments of her show.
