I have a Sharp electronic organiser ZQ-770 which I bought years ago and I have found is still working. There's also a Honeywell programmer that we can switch to continuous mode and when doing that the boiler kicks in for 2 minutes and then switches off.Right there should be a switched spur to the boiler which cuts power to the boiler and should also cut power to the relay which will reboot it. The stat is normally set to 20 deg but the boiler usually switches off before the room temp has reached that.In this state the green light will come on when the HC60NG button is pressed and the boiler will light up.
