It really touched my heart, If I’m being honest I went into this book thinking it was another romance (I love romance so nothing bad about it) but instead I was taught some valuable lessons about life. fuck this I’m disappointed because I waited months to read this and I really trusted the author and the way I feel that she played me like girl at least say that this book literally have a lot of sex between the hero and other girls but don’t say that this book is safe for people like me who don’t read shit like this with a man that don’t know how to keep his dick in his pants. The relationship between the MMC/FMC lacked the depth and chemistry that I would have wanted to read.

But it’s just soooo good) the way that I felt when I read this book is what I aspire to have in my relationship if not then I don’t want it. there was nothing about him that couldve redeemed him or his behavior the way that one instance of him blowing his gasket and him still choosing to go drive drunk after I actually wanted someone to get killed by him on the road maybe that wouldve made for a better book. TW: Drunk driving, loss of a loved one, alcohol abuse, mental health/insecurity, body image and toxic family dynamic.The feeling deep inside on caring more about other and trying to fix whatever problems are going on than having to care about yourself… she didn’t deserve what the mmc put her through and I wish he would’ve groveled more but those last chapters. Marley my girl was so strong, she's such a inspiration for not giving up, I don't know what I'd be doing if I had been in her case. The MC, Marley, should might as well hold a sign saying “I’m a door mat” since she loves getting stepped on.
