About this deal

This overly sweet dark Tonka Cardamom spice scent, it's getting really annoying to keep smelling every time i try a new designer to test out. it not only hurts this forum, but it also discourages new members from expressing themselves and contributing to the fragrance community. The base notes form the foundation of the fragrance, rounds off the smell experience and gives the fragrance a certain degree of depth.

It's an instant compliment getter and is versatile enough to be worn day or night, casual or formal. This didnt blow me away but i was pleasantly surprised and really like this version and dont like the original as much. In just a moment the ambergris enters the blend with a very noticeable note, earthy, slightly mineral, and musky animalic; the salt enhances this note. One disadvantage is the final drydown you get strongly the artificial ambroxan accord that I absolutely hate but overall a great release.Invictus Intense sounds like a hot day near the open swimming pool in Greece or Egypt, that tourist type of resorts. Honestly this could easily be a women's fragrance I get a lot of jasmine , neroli and a hint of gardenia but the salt and laurel give it a bitterness which prevents it from going full on feminine. bad thing is that I wish the whiskey note was more noticeable but even with very little of it this is a great frag.

This gets a lot of hate but most women enjoy it, and the most important lady in my life loves it, so I will wear it! The alluring scent brings together top notes of Black Pepper, Orange Flower and Laurel Leaf with a captivating heart of Ambergris, Whisky Cream and Salty Black Amber to create a woody and intoxicating aroma that's sure to win. That being said its mostly like the original but a more aquatic woodsy and slightly synthetic to my nose. I know everyone has their own opinions and I do understand that some people will not like this but for the vast majority who love Invictus regular will love the Intense flanker. Don’t believe everything you hear from Youtubers, some of them are awesome, but many of them have been given free colognes(Parfums Vintage) and give them great reviews. A clash of neroli and black pepper bring forth a glimmer of vibrancy and a ricochet of spice, creating a feeling of invigorating intoxication.

I asked friends and collegue about both perfumes side by side and they seem to gravitate to the Invictus Intense. More than ever he represents the ultimate symbol of perfection and desire with a woody-amber fragrance with notes of spiced florals. The scent on this one is very sweet, but has a dark note at the end that makes it more attractive, seductive, and distinguishes it from other sweet perfumes and scents that dry down into something softer. Invictus Intense is perfectly balanced, stays firmly in your skin for no less than seven straight hours with just one or two sprays, is an instant compliment-getter, and can be extremely versatile for either casual or formal meetings, day or night.I think over the years I've gotten more of a like for this version, because when it was first released I liked it less, and now it's harder to get. I was worried over some of the reviews on here and descriptions of how salty and the ambergris dominated it however. It is sprayed in the morning and the scent of the perfume stays in the apartment for an hour, and it lasts on clothes for 2-3 days. But where those fragrances are usually mixed with leather and amber, Invictus Intense has a sea / fruity vibe. The pepper permeates too much for me to fully enjoy, I do like the dry down after the pepper settles in, not sure why I get strong Tonka bean notes as well, just not my thing. I saw a review on YouTube where intense was referred to as the 8 ounce concentrated cup of coffee as opposed to the 10 ounce original. I could see why these fragrances get a lot of hate being reviewed by people who the fragrance was not targeted for.The orange blossom gives the fragrance a combination of white floral and citrus (evocative of bitter grapefruit and sweet orange) notes, fresh, aromatic, and pleasant. I tried a sample vial of Invictus intense over the holidays (about two applications) and my first impression was a strong similarity to Burberry Brit Rhythm intense.
