About this deal
There's a pretty solid argument to be made for integrating some kind of tracking technology onto your keyring. I think I may try the Tile fobs again for key tracking as their life is the years range these days, but other than the KeySmart looking cool, which it does, I have no particularly wow memories of the thing. The battery inside the KeySmart Pro is charged through a charging Micro USB port on the side of the device.
Following the sound is much faster than turning over couch cushions and going through jeans pockets, allowing you to get out the door sooner.Tile is a Bluetooth tracker and easy-to-use app which can find anything you don’t want to lose - in this case, your keys - in seconds. We’re huge fans of bottle openers here at Pack Hacker—for obvious reasons—but we’re disappointed with this one.
We can’t be the only ones who have been totally screwed with a lost phone set to silent (so many hours wasted). As with everything else reviewed on this blog, the black is the one I'll be looking at in this post.
The height and width of the KeySmart Pro is more or less the size of your keys but does add on thickness. The KeySmart Pro also has a micro-USB port built-in so you can recharge it to keep your flashlight and your Tile working whenever you need them.
Regular keys are sandwiched in between two pieces of hard plastic with stainless steel bolts looping through the keyholes and holding everything in place. Another thing is that when you pull out a key, chances are that the adjacent key will be pulled up since they are connected at the hinge. The KeySmart Pro helps anyone from ever losing their keys again thanks to integrated Tile feature that pairs with the Tile app on your smartphone. The thing that only this key holder can do, is you can play a sound on your KeySmart Pro from your Tile app. They come in a variety of colors and you can get additions such as pocket clips and even flash drives if necessary.
Plus, the Rugged version comes with a pocket clip, which makes it even more comfortable in your pocket. Not all keys can fit inside the case, which is why there’s a small loop where you can attach fobs, car keys, or bike keys.
