This is smaller than the fully compressible models reviewed, as well as some of the hybrid pillows we studied. Packrafting has always interested me, but it wasn’t until I won an AIRE BAKraft at Gauley Fest last year that I seriously considered putting a lightweight river trip together. In the end, I found that I could split the difference by leaving the air bladder and foam behind and filling my Fillo with my down jacket at night.

We knew it would weigh in relatively light; however, its size and overall comfort fooled us into thinking it would weigh more than it actually did. The microsuede is soft and plush, but also offers enough grip that if our heads moved away from the pillow's center during the night, we didn't have to worry about it sliding off as we did with most of the inflatable pillows.
