The Flashback 8 Gold (and the new Sega console) take a page from Nintendo's book and offer HDMI connectors. I also discovered Crystal Castles, a really cool game where you collect gems while exploring different castles.

Although it features Gold in its title like past Atari Flashback releases there is no basic model release for the Flashback 12. So, if you’re ready to crush some classics like Space Invaders, Centipede, Pitfall, River Raid, Kaboom! AtGames has announced a a few new entries in its line Atari Flashback consoles, all of which will release later this year.Each subsequent home console in the series is modeled after the 2600, and the original Flashback is the only one that includes games from the 7800 library. The side mounted HDMI port is wonky, the power adapter isn't micro-USB, so definitely can't lose or break that sucker.

With Warlords, there's no offense because everybody moves at the same speed, so it's purely a defensive game (keep batting the ball around, hoping everyone kills each other off first). At the same time, interest in retro gaming—the foundation all these new games were built atop—is soaring sky-high.ini, a clean one straight off the system before adding roms and a copy every so often of the current so that if you lose any progress and need to reinsert a "clean" version you can just add the most recent copy. I grew up playing Atari games and having the chance to relive this timeless classics was tremendous fun.
