The EPOS-Sennheiser GSP 670 gaming headphones feature an integrated rechargeable battery that provides up to 20 hours of battery life via Bluetooth or up to 16 hours using the low-latency connection with the included dongle. This, my friends, is my full experience with Sennheiser’s first wireless gaming headset, the GSP 670. The back of each earcup is dominated by some form of plastic circle; the left cup has a smooth plastic circle on which the large, chunky boom microphone is mounted to easily flip up and down, while the right cup has a ridged circle that serves as a combination power switch and volume dial. Released in 1945, the DMI was the first microphone produced by Sennheiser, then known as Laboratorium Wennebostel.It’s a great option to have, though I preferred playing around with the EQ settings as much as possible to find the sweet spot for my own tastes. Additionally, the Sennheiser GSP 670 combats the proximity effect (that overly-bassy sound when people get too close to the mic), and consequently sounds clear and doesn’t have the volume issues many gaming headset microphones struggle with. The LED on the headset will blink red and the voice prompt "Headset charging" will be announced multiple times. It sounds exceptionally fun, explosive, and lively and proves extremely versatile: in multiplayer first-person shooters you'll pinpoint the location of your enemies with ease and extreme accuracy, and after you switch to an atmospheric, dialogue-driven single player title, this headset will impress you with the warmth and fullness of the sound it produces.

In my two prior reviews of Sennheiser products, I talked about how the GSP 300 and GSP 600 are no-frills, clean cut audio. Two plastic sliders across the top of the headband let you adjust how the headset sits on your scalp by distributing the weight more toward the sides or the center. For this, you have to start a music source (MP3, YouTube or similar), because the sound test itself does not make any sound. Everything did sound wider, with an increased sense of scale, but there's an unmistakable sense of artificiality in that width.
