The chances of this game being of much use at a large gathering are slim as the track listing just isn't diverse enough to entertain everybody. There’s also very little to enjoy, nay nothing, if you don’t enjoy music that’s been made in the past eighteen months and, of course, you’ll get more out of the game if you invite your friends around for a go and make an evening of it with some drinks and perhaps some other party games. However, if you are more co-ordinated than me then you’ll enjoy the selection of dances, which fit nicely into the songs and range in difficulty. In all of the modes mentioned so far, all that matters is your score and, at this point, it is purely a matter of pride. These companies need to realize that not everyone owns or wants a cell phone, and let alone they need to give the option of using a regular controller.What makes this outing interesting is the addition of Golden Notes, which are special high notes that are hard to hit, yet reward you with extra points if you do. But a lack of content, and a limited variety of song types with the on-disc setlist (and no confirmation on any future DLC) as well as no real innovation in the genre of the game limits it from being much more else than a short burst of fun from time to time with some friends.
