The brand itself was founded in 1982, but raspberry liqueur was first crafted at the royal Château de Chambord in the late 17th C.

The infusion and extraction process takes a full six weeks, allowing the raspberry and blackberry juice to infuse with French neutral spirits before the fruits are gently pressed to capture the natural juices and sugars of fruit creating Chambord’s rich flavoursome base.Named after the one of the most recognisable chateaux in France’s Loire Valley, Chambord Royale de France is the premium black raspberry liqueur which is owned and produced by the same family for generations, replicating the 17 th century inspired recipe for over 300 years to a world class standard.

It is made with black raspberries, vanilla from Madagascar and Moroccan citrus peels which are steeped in cognac and sweetened with honey. After six weeks of double fruit infusion, our berries are delicately pressed to capture all of their natural tongue-tingling juices.Whole raspberries and blackberries are steeped in French spirits for a period of several weeks to produce a fruit infusion. Due to the Alberta Government distribution system, BSW Liquor cannot always guarantee the availability of specific vintages. After this second infusion is drawn off, the remaining fruit is pressed to obtain the natural sugars and juice.
