About this deal

when Jonathan finally reach his stardom, his relationship with Kennedy starts to fall apart and his addiction gets a lot worse. A brilliant 21st-century take on the Gothic: a woman, whose husband just vanishes, is left to the frantic silence of abandonment and virtual reality's eerie twilight. a clever, gripping, refreshingly urban setting for a novel that plays with tropes from not just ghost stories but also murder mysteries . She says that like he’s being ridiculous asking that question, like he’s supposed to just know, but love isn’t something he’s had a lot of.

I’m not even sure why I’m embarrassed to admit I was kinda enchanted by the burgeoning romance between Sarah and Eddie. What Ghosted presents, despite the blurb and the promise of mystery, however, is ultimately more formulaic that the juicy vicarious answer we’ve always wanted. At first they camped in the field with us, but eventually, as I fought on through the knotted jungle of adolescence, they allowed Hannah and Alex to sleep up there alone, with me as bodyguard. There was an armor on this man, a quiet strength that made me think of an old seawall, an oak tree, maybe. Deliciously addictive, surprising and sentimental, Ghosted is a must-read for fans of Liane Moriarty and Jojo Moyes. They are connected instantly and fall in love, but years later after some rough times they are separated.

Ghosted is deeply unsettling - Laurie is such a believable complex person, I couldn't look away from her life. It showed how out of control life can be, especially if you loose focus on what should always be the most important thing.so, Ghosted is a second chance romance that follows two highschool sweethearts, Jonathan Cunningham and Kennedy Garfield. It felt like it was just based on sex in both the past and the present, and that the deep connection parts were skimmed over or just vague. Set to film scenes for his next movie in nearby NYC, Kennedy is anxious about the likelihood that he will attempt to reenter her life again. The mentally restless Laurie is a miraculous creation, somehow managing to be both a not entirely reliable narrator and yet solidly sympathetic. I know now the reason I was so reluctant to tell her that Mark had left me was because I feared she would blame me for driving her adored son away.

I must really have a cold heart, because I never cried on this one and others are claiming that they did (and a lot). Looking back now, I’m even more grateful that I somehow took this exceptionally unorthodox path to matrimony as the whole process of dating seems to be so much fucking harder now than it was back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s when I was a dater. As a rule, when an author establishes a plot in which the logical outcome is bad, they need to be brave enough to let that bad shit happen — even if you, the reader, really want a happy ending. Around their high school graduation, they left their small town together and headed away to follow their dreams. The fact that her husband, never portrayed as the “bad guy” and still her number one business partner, remains well thought of by her is strange; she seems to have divorced more for apathy; the lackluster emotion surrounding a big and usually traumatic event, along with the fact that the now broken up couple still works well together and wishes each other well, rings false. Instead, think of the title as being the modern interpretation of ‘ghosted’ – being ignored by every electronic means possible and in real life. I also felt like the relationship between them was just surface deep, and could've been so much better! The heroine went through so much pain and heartache over this guy and I didn’t feel like he did anything to deserve her or their child’s forgiveness.
