About this deal

I really liked that the author covered topics such as teaching kids healthy money habits, mindsets around money, financial abuse, prenups, as well as how to ask for a pay rise. The structure of the book was worse, they consistently gave advice before exploring the underlying concepts which made it hard to follow.

So for the right outcome, ensure you always stay true to the long-term principles of sound investing which is no doubt covered in the above book. These 4 or 5-star reviews represent the opinions of the individuals who posted them and do not reflect the views of Etsy.In Girls Just Want to Have Funds, the trio of founders behind the global movement Female Invest bring you an empowering five-step guide with a straight-talking message: you don't have to be an expert or a millionaire to make money. Girls just wanna have funds is a weekly podcast hosted by HMBradley’s VP of Finance Saira Rahman and co-hosted by her funniest partner in crime, Megan McShane.

Start your journey to financial success with Female Invest's bootcamp for safe, smart and sustainable investing.

The info is concise however at one point the author contradicts themself as to going with your gut when investing. Through their subscription business, which has members in 82 countries, they educate women on personal finance and investing with a mission to close the financial gender gap. In terms of recommendations and feedback, there were some sweeping statements made early in the book, which I feel would have benefited from citing the source material/study to add a little more support and strength to the points being made.

It's quite a short book, I think I finished reading the e-book version checked out from my library within about 3 hours. They addressed ESG but skimmed it and recommended new investors look at the UNSDGs - a framework which isn’t at all related to investments. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions.I tried to look at this book from a beginner’s lens but even with this perspective, I would not recommend this book. We want to prove that you don't have to be an expert or a millionaire to invest, and that doing so is a powerful way to achieve freedom. Who actually runs the company", "when will you have children" and "isn't this just a pocket money project? The authors very much cover sustainable/ethical investing which I found a great confidence boost, as ethical investing is important to me and the authors add clarity and insight to the ethical area. It does share some valuable insights here and there but nothing that is substantial if you are already taking care of your personal finances.

Girls Just Wanna Have Funds (GJWHF) is a women's network founded in 2018 that is dedicated to the advancement of women in the corporate restructuring and distressed investing fields.A practical and empowering personal finance guide for women of all ages from the founder of Ladies Finance Club, Molly Benjamin. Saira and Megan interview Claire on her journey to building Ladies Get Paid, a global community that champions the professional and financial advancement of women. Numerous underlying issues persist, and only by shedding light on them can we hope to create a world where founders are judged on merit, not on gender. We are a community of women+ committed to eradicating the gender investment gap by empowering each other to invest in ourselves through education, communication, and taking action. I have noticed that other woman financial educators work their own personal stories/views into their books, and was impressed that these three did not follow that trend.
