About this deal

Creator Advanced Models train sets includes just a couple of sets, the 10219-1 Maersk Train and the 10194-1 Emerald Night. Disclaimer: BrickLink does not guarantee an inventory to be correct and therefore an inventory should be only used as a guide. People can be upset and shoot me for saying this, but I purchased the Lepin version of this train and powered it for half of what it cost to get the Lego version. All images of LEGO products and scans of original building instructions are copyright The LEGO Group.

When enriched with LEGO Lights, this classic train is transformed into an illuminated masterpiece, reminiscent of historic rail adventures, encapsulating the romance and elegance of traditional train travel. Additionally, the design of the front part has been streamlined to make it appear lighter and more balanced with the carriage. I built up a simple caboose design using the same color scheme with some of the same troubles as the coaches in terms of color matching. From the steam locomotive with furnace to the opening tender and dining car with removable roof, opening doors, and detailed interior, this classic-styled train is designed with a ton of stunning details. Anyway, I think the other reviewers here have covered all the specific technical details in sufficient detail. Pictured above is the steam engine from the set configured for PF (minus the battery box in the tender). I'd say you ought to purchase the individual pieces from BrickLink, simply because you can find the same pieces in alternate colours.

I fully agree on what M_slug said before: It appears as you have the building instructions - make your own Emerald Night! In 2009, as the original Flying Scotsman was being repaired by the British Museum, it was put up for sale. The train is a perennial subject in the modeling world, full of power and mechanical sense of modeling, and a vivid recollection of an era. I have three EN's, two in original livery and the third is in 'baureihe' colors (red details and totally black). This set includes a dining car, a tender, and a steam locomotive that resembles the well-known A3 Pacific 60103 Flying Scotsman. In the vast world of LEGO sets, the illuminated LEGO Emerald Night 10194 emerges as a beacon of historical elegance.

The Emerald Night Class A2’s first section locomotive is built with lights in mind and is intended to be tender powered. But building the included engine unit is a lot of fun -- various interlocking gears and axles which were very interesting for my 5 year old to put together (with help) and see in operation. I think that this train is possibly the best LEGO train set that has ever been made, which is why I want this one in particular. The three moc set is MOC-37965 KernowBrix’s Emerald Night Class A3-A Locomotive that also includes a locomotive and a tender. As the lights cast their glow on the LEGO Emerald Night 10194, you're transported to the golden age of rail. While our moc set may be powered by the older 9v train motor, power functions motor, or the new powered up motor, whereas the Emerald Night gear system was shown to be flawed with the addition of the power function. On 30 November 1934, the locomotive became the first steam locomotive to be officially recognized as achieving 100 miles per hour (161 km/h). Every illuminated facet, from the furnace's flicker to the dining car's ambiance, resonates with the luxurious allure that classic trains once offered, evoking treasured memories of days gone by. Alternatively, you can rig your own lights, or you can purchase our KernowBrix Lighting Solutions, which does not need a cable from the tender and has its own battery.
