The Snowspeeder is part of the Ultimate Collector's Series, which mean that it's mostly a display model. Under this console, is a space to put the pilots’ blasters and can be accessed when the canopy is opened.
The Snowspeeder has been a staple of LEGO Star Wars ever since the theme’s origins in 1999, but this version of the craft is probably the best one we have received from LEGO so far, without including the UCS models. Features a Snowspeeder building toy with opening 2-minifigure cockpit, 2 spring-loaded shooters, a stud shooter and harpoon with string at the rear, plus an elevating and rotating gun tower with stud shooter. LEGO 75259 Snowspeeder – 20th Anniversary Edition was a 309 piece Star Wars set with 4 minifigs released in 2019. All product and company names are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders.
In fact, the two sets are almost identical, with both of the speeders using many of the same parts to represent the same features.
My wife purchased this for me, not realizing the UCS set was retired and I had the smaller 20th anniversary set (no fault of her own as she was battling stage 4 cancer and on active chemo at the time).
