About this deal

From time to time carriers may deliver earlier or later, or on non working days however this is cannot be guaranteed nor should it be expected. Skratch Recovery, Coffee Flavor:Mental and physical boost post run. Coffee flavor is excellent and goes great straight into a fresh brewed cup Whether you overpronate or you just want some extra support when your feet get fatigued, the Launch is a solid choice—and proof that stable doesn’t have to mean slow. The Hyperion Max is difficult to categorize, but that’s exactly why it’s one of the best Brooks running shoes: It does many things very well. The “max” in Hyperion Max refers to the hefty wedge of nitrogen-infused DNA Flash foam in the shoe’s midsole, which is very light and creates a plush, highly responsive ride. That makes the Hyperion Max an incredible dynamic shoe: You can lace them up for a long, mellow run or put them on for speedwork. My last suggestion would be to consider adding a little more volume to the forefoot. I understand the prior version had some issues with creasing, but it is important that there is enough room in the forefoot, especially in such a stiff stability shoe. This should not be sloppy, but it would be helpful to not have the toe box taper so much for toe comfort.

Speaking of outsole, there is a dense amount of it throughout that provides good traction which comfortably handles road, wet surfaces and even mild trail just fine. I took the shoe through some grass and dirt roads and it did well enough, but definitely excels at road where it was intended.

Features

The Beast is probably the most literal name for a shoe I’ve ever ran in. It is a large shoe that has a lot to offer. What I like about the Beast is it is great for injury prone runners and also caters to people just looking for a walking shoe.

The Hyperion Elite has a relatively wide footbed compared to other elite racers, such as the Nike Vaporfly, which gives it a more stable ride (especially when cornering) and a more accommodating fit. Overall, the Hyperion Elite 3 is the best choice for longer races and marathons: You get a comfortable ride without compromising on weight or energy return. I am so disappointed in the Brooks Beast 20. I have worn Brooks Beast for many years. I changed from Saucony to Brooks Beast when Brooks Beast came in with a wider toe and and deeper toe box. Personal: C (A really hard shoe for me to dig a lot of miles into personally for the level of stability ) All applicable customs and import duties and any other charges are the responsibility of the customer. With the Revel, you can save money without sacrificing performance. While it doesn’t have quite enough cushioning for long-distance running, it’ll be a great workhorse trainer for speedwork and short day-to-day runs.Stability: A+ (The highest level of stability available in the market for runners today, particularly medially ) Personal:C- ( I appreciate what Brooks is trying to do, but I cannot handle running much in this shoe as it has far too aggressive stability for me. Walking is fine. This is not an appropriate shoe for me for running as my stability needs are not that high)

Brooks has developed four main cushioning foams for its shoes. Each one is optimized for different traits, like soft cushioning or low weight, which play a large role in defining the distinct feeling of Brooks’ “Cushion,” “Speed,” and “Energize” experiences.

DPT/Footwear Science: B- (The innovation feels limited, but the shoe existing is still important in itself ) The shoe really shined for me on recovery days and when I wanted to run long but not push myself. I found it hard to go fast in these because of how heavy and rigid the shoe is. Cushion shoes, as the name implies, are designed to create a soft, pillowy feel underfoot. The Glycerin 20 is the flagship shoe in this category and Brooks’ most cushioned trainer. If you like plush, maximalist shoes that provide plenty of padding for your feet, this is where to start. Stability: A [Motion Control] ( Aggressively stiff heel/midfoot with large guide rails, sole flaring in heel and wide base) DNA is the brand’s most basic EVA foam. Its primary attribute is softness, which it brings to entry-level shoes across all three shoe categories. While DNA doesn’t have the pillowy feel or high energy return of Brooks’ more advanced foams, it’s a tried-and-true option that creates dependable cushioning. If you just need a basic trainer and don’t want to spend a lot of money, DNA will work well for you.

Matt: The Brooks Beast or Ariel GTS 23 is for those who want a rare motion-control shoe with a large amount of protection, aggressive central guidance and a secure midfoot. The guide rails, wider base, stiff sole, and other mechanisms provide aggressive stability primarily in the heel and into the midfoot. Those who want this to happen more during running/walking and less overtly during standing will do best. The fit is normal with a little toe box taper, decent forefoot room a snug midfoot and a wider heel. While a bit old school category wise, the Brooks Beast/Ariel does bring some upgrades over the year. Additionally, it provides a rare shoe in this category for those that need it.

Trail

In addition to its foams, Brooks has a key design feature called GuideRails for runners who need stability and support. GuideRails shoes have additional layers of firm, high-density foam on the medial and lateral sides of the midsole, which creates a bumper around your foot to keep it aligned in the shoe and counter overpronation. (When your foot rolls too far inward during your stride). Amphipod Hydraform Handheld Water Bottle: Perfect for long runs when you need hydration in the summer Brooks has been around for over 100 years, but its story as a running company began in 1974, when the brand released its first running shoe, the Villanova. The shoe was a revelation: It was the first to use ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) foam padding, which was lighter and softer than other midsole materials used at the time. The Villanova set a new standard for running shoes–EVA is still widely used in running midsoles today. Brooks organizes its road shoes into three categories: “Cushion,” “Energize,” and “Speed.” (The brand’s trail shoes technically fall into their own separate category, but they use the same midsole foams as the “Cushion” and “Energize” shoes.)
