Knox & Aria have been brewing since the release of Fighting Destiny. All the greatness we've seen throughout Fae Chronicles and spinoffs are ingredients too these two characters!

I have to say I loved Toby right away. He is good looking, sweet and caring. But definitely has a bad boy side when he needs one. You could tell he had an instant connection with Sara when he first meets her, filling in for a self defense class. Fallon: "I'm going to rape you, Aria. I'm going to rape and mutilate you because I want that good pussy and I'm an alpha wolf." Is that enough? For me, not so much. I found little pleasure in scenes that reeked of or screamed of rape and other kinds of abuse and while I think the story idea itself (which could be explained in three sentences) has potential, all the sexual potency that is constantly being thrown around in the most disgusting ways, destroys it. I am also confident that Hutchins will not manage to redeem her male hero in my eyes. However, she claimed she would successfully so so at least at the end of the series and I might just let her try.

Fighting g Destiny is a phenomenal read. It will keep you guessing. I could not put this one down. I would suggest this book to everyone. This series has a novella, Rewriting Destiny,that was put out first and it is a great read also. Yikes. No thank you! Eventually, we do get to some actual sex scenes and I'm not going to lie... they were pretty great at first but then eventually became repetitive and OTT. Other than that, the writing was just sooo casually crude and I could not take it seriously. But also because I invested so much time into the Fey Chronicles universe that I needed to let it rest a bit so as not to accidentally compare the two. Arias is a very very strong heroine, at times she does annoy me a bit, but she is quite young for a Witch, she's 24 years old - and because she's very young, along with some of her sad life experiences by the hands of her own mother, she can be a little jaded, but it all builds on her character. She's fierce and loyal and she loves deeply. She also has no problems putting you to death should you break the law and so forth, hehe. a wolf dies. (actually that might have happened earlier) The wolf alpha, Fallon, wants to dominate Aria.*
