The fit is true to size length and width wise for me in a US9 as with all other Asics shoes. As mentioned the toe box is voluminous both in terms of width and across the top. Some may find this beneficial for longer distance runs / races. The toebox volume remains similar to that of the Trabuco 9, which fellow reviewer Mike found to be a standout feature. To finish, while I found the ride to be cushioned, it is all relative where there are a multitude of cushier trail options out there by Salomon and Hoka for example. The Saucony Peregrine 12 offers a durable, versatile trail shoe which performs well in all weather, and on all terrain. They will protect your feet for longer and cope better in slippery conditions than value footwear. Plus, the Peregrine is much lighter than the GEL-Trabuco 10, although it also offers less support. The ASICS Gel-Trabuco 10 G-TX uses a 3D design to stabilise the foot on the platform, alongside Duomax technology on the medial side to enhance support and stability.
