The more usual forms are brownish waxy scabs inside the ears. These are caused by the mites chewing the ear. The scabs can be dry or weep slightly causing a smell. The standard treatment of drops and antibiotics provided by vets gives only temporary relief. Product defects resulting from misuse, negligence, alterations or repairs, abnormal working conditions, general wear and tear and wilful damage will not be covered under any guarantee.

Allergies develop over time, it's actually more common to become allergic to a familiar food/ cosmetic/ cleaning product than a novel one so not changing the food is a red herring. However since the change coincided with the move my guess would be on something in the environment. THORNIT is a powder that you simply apply to the outer ear (avoiding the entrance of the ear canal) and massage from the outside.. As the ear wax dissolves, the ear mites die, and your canine’s ear will be healthy and clean. To treat mites on other parts of the body, simply shake powder onto the affected area. Your dog will experience relief after the first dose, but you should continue treatment for up to 5 days, using the powder twice a day After endless rounds of antibiotic ear drops for our dog + a washout under anaesthetic at the vets. Our poor dog was fed up shaking her head and it was driving her crazy. What did they swab for/ what did they look at? We they culturing bacteria on agar plates or looking for mites on a microscope slide? Don't assume pollen would show up, it is much much smaller than a mite and won't grow on an agar plate. Anyway just the presence of pollen doesn't prove it is causing a problem. Might be worth asking exactly what your vets have looked for and about possible allergies?
