About this deal
The Series 9 9385cc is very comfortable, regardless of whether you use it wet or dry, making it ideal for men with sensitive skin like myself.
The Panasonic Arc5 is a 5-bladed foil shaver, and the Philips Norelco 9000 is a rotary shaver series that features 3 circular blades on the head. On the other hand, an electric shaver is a device mostly used in the bathroom and kept on the countertop. This limitation affects both the original and the new Series 9. In fact, this is the case with all Braun electric razors that include a cleaning station.
I did have a look at the “Braun Series 9 Model Comparison: What Are The Differences?” again and I could see that for some reason I have unfortunately overlooked the great comparison chart that you have made with all the comparison between the 93xx (and 92xx and 90xx models). After reading the chart I can see that the 9385cc is THE model I will go for.
The Series 9 models that are suitable for wet & dry use can’t be operated while charging as a safety precaution. That normally never happens with my older Series 9. I suspect the wider gap between the two rows of teeth of the new ProLift trimmer is the culprit. And for the users contemplating getting a Series 9, it makes perfect sense to find out whether these newer shavers are worth the trouble.
As a downside, when using the Series 9 Pro alongside a regular Series 9, the Pro seems to be grabbier and a bit harsher on the skin.
