About this deal

The clones Gregor, Rex, and Wolffe retained some of their armor plates long after their military service ended.

Phase II armor was retained by the clones, who became the first stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire. Phase II clone trooper armor was manufactured by Kaminoan armorsmiths. [1] More advanced than the Phase I clone trooper armor, Phase II armor was capable of supporting more specialized equipment. [10] It was, therefore, more expensive to produce, costing 3,000 credits per suit [2] whereas Phase I cost 2,000 credits. [11] Unlike Phase I, [12] Phase II did not feature an internal life support system, necessitating the use of an external respirator in the absence of breathable atmosphere. [13] As such, Phase II helmets featured an advanced filtration system, and were also designed to be more comfortable to wear than Phase I helmets. [14] Clone troopers often viewed themselves as expendable for the sake of the Republic. They were created for the sole purpose of combat. However, as the war progressed, the Jedi began to realize that clones were living beings with individual personalities, regardless of how they were created. Steven Barnes' 2004 novel, The Cestus Deception, shows how Jedi value the clones as individuals. The book notes, “[It] didn’t matter that they’d all begun life in identical artificial wombs. In millions of tiny ways, their conditioning and experience were different, and that created differences in both performance and personality.” THE CLONE WARS SERIES-INSPIRED DESIGN: Fans can imagine scenes from the Star Wars Galaxy with this premium roleplay helmet inspired by the animated seriesDuring the Clone Wars, armored clone troopers served as a collective symbol of the Galactic Republic. I used US Letter sized paper for mine, but you could probably use a4 just make sure to use the original image size when you print and don't convert it to a4 or it will shrink the template to fit the different paper. Some of the edges will get cut off if you use anything other than US Letter, but honestly as long as you have the basic shape, you can guess the bit that gets cut off.

Clone commandos wore Katarn-class armor, a heavier version of the standard-issue clone trooper armor. Despite the advantages it offered, Phase I was uncomfortable to wear due to the Kaminoans' unfamiliarity with human ergonomics. [1] Phase II clone trooper armor was the improved version of its Phase I counterpart, providing clone troopers with better vision as well as armor plates that were both lighter and stronger. [2] The new armor was capable of supporting more specialized equipment, [19] such as an external respirator as the helmet did not feature an internal life support system. [20] It was also more expensive to make, costing 3,000 credits [4] per armor set as opposed to Phase I's 2,000 credits. [3] Variant forms [ ] Specialized clone armor [ ]

Clone trooper pilots considered themselves as a breed apart, having been selected early in their development to learn special skills. Their version of Phase I armor featured additional life-support gear and a helmet with improved sensors. Like rank-and-file clones, the clone pilot " Warthog" wore an updated rig—customized to his liking. As the Clone Wars ground on, pilots received improvements to their gear. Stealth clone pilots wore their own unique armor due to their role in flying experimental starships. By the final days of the war, pilots wore new flight gear, featuring open-faced helmets that offered superior visibility during space battles. [2] The new armor incorporated a more advanced air filtration and oxygen supply system, polarized lenses, and an annunciator to make speech more comprehensible. In addition, the boots were magnetized and incorporated a grav-field alternator to ensure stability. Another useful feature was that the armor and the bodysuit could be pressurized, providing temporary protection against non-breathable atmospheres. It was not as pressurized as its predecessor, however, when used in conjunction with a external respirator, the clones could last longer in a vacuum environment wearing Phase 2 compared to its predecessor. However, the detail that really caught Star Wars animated fans’ attention in the last Star Wars: Andor trailer, screened at the D23 Expo 2022, was the presence of Phase II Clone Troopers. The glimpse of Phase II Clone Troopers in the trailer confirms that they are getting their live-action debut in Star Wars: Andor. Phase II Clone Troopers have made appearances in several Star Wars video games and were seen numerous times in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but have not appeared in any live-action projects until now. Phase II was the new and improved armor introduced to the ranks of the clone army as the Clone Wars ground on.

After some time, Republic forces besieged the Separatist primary droid foundry, and advanced with troop columns and AT-TEs, and several AV-7s were called to the front lines of battle. Once the area was temporarily cleared, the gunners engaged Separatist super tanks, which were being deployed from the foundry. The gunners and their cannons were unable to impact the tanks, and were all destroyed and killed by Separatist forces. Eventually, the Republic forces emerged victorious. [16] Appearances [ ] Phase II incorporated all of its predecessor's systems in addition to polarized lenses, padding, and stronger, lighter armor plates. It could also support more modular attachments, making it superior to its predecessor. Unlike early iterations of the Phase I armor, color was used to denote unit affiliation instead of rank.We tend to not use the phrases “Phase 1” or “Phase 2” as they can be applied to both the movie realistic clones seen in Episodes II & III as well as the animated style clones from The Clone Wars television series. If you are looking for a specific type of clone trooper armor, please understand that we use the following phrases to describe specific clone troopers: Star Wars: Legion — TX-130 Saber-class Fighter Tank Unit Expansion (Card: TX-130 Twin Laser Turret)

Clone gunners were specialized clone trooper operators that were trained in the usage of artillery, [4] other heavy ground weapons, [1] and starship armament. [3] Gunners used a variant of the Phase I clone trooper armor early during the war, which contained reinforced chest armor and helmets with additional noise insulation to protect against the recoil and sound of the weapons they operated. Additionally, standard shoulder armor was replaced with reinforced shoulder pieces. Commonly, clone gunners had dark green reinforced armor, with brownish helmet protection, [4] however, clone gunners were also known to use orange reinforced armor, with orange helmet protective gear.
