The Mandalorian is currently in 11 ABY (After The Battle of Yavin), as Jon Favreau said Luke and Baby Yoda spent two years together. At the end of The Mandalorian season 2, Din Djarin allowed Grogu to go off with Luke Skywalker, to pursue his training as a Jedi. That training, as seen in The Book of Boba Fett, took place on the planet of Ossus (where Skywalker's Jedi Academy is supposed to be). Grogu is the second known being to be both Mandalorian and Jedi, the first being Tarre Vizla the founder of House Vizla and the creator of the Darksaber. He is also one of the few known Force-sensitive Mandalorians, along with Tarre Viszla and Sabine Wren. However, where Grogu chose to leave the path of the Jedi to become a Mandalorian, Sabine was, like Viszla, a Mandalorian who became a Jedi.
