About this deal

For this list, I have chosen vibrant red and purple Citadel Colours paints that would work well in combination with the Ionrach Skin paint. Add chip and scrathes to edges with Stormvermin Fur . Id recommend underlining them with the Deepkin Flesh / White Scar from earlier.

Yeah, the models you've linked are done by the 'Eavy Metal team, who are definitely using more advanced techniques, including mixing paint colours and blending of colours on the models. Emma: I love Targor Rageshade for really rugged light leathers, and for the tanned skin tones of warriors who roam the open plains of the Mortal Realms. It also looks great in the recesses of Rakarth Flesh for a pallid but wartorn skin tone – ideal for Chaos Space Marines . They may be mixing tones, applying layers with airbrushing, and all sorts of things. Short of getting it directly from the 'Eavy Metal team, no one is going to be able to exactly tell you how to achieve those tones. Skin: Celestra Grey, shaded with Druichii Violet, cleaned up with Celestra Grey, layered with Warpfiend Grey, layered with 1:1 Warpfiend Grey:Pallid Wych Flesh, and highlighted with Pallid Wych Flesh.GW's new range matches with the old range are the matches claimed by GW. However, many of the paints do not match very closely at all and some mixing will be required to get close to the original colours. If you are trying to match old GW with new GW, you'd be better just getting Vallejo game color or coat d'arms for the closest match ) With smaller amounts of 1:1 Dark Reaper and Loren Forest , add fine lines to the deeperst recesses. http://www.acrylicosvallejo.com/en_US/media/e588d28183cec31ffd6dcee6d3718fc3.cms/equivalencias-rev05.pdf To startt off, I primed with Wraithbone , just to get the armour as close to its eventual colour as possible. Pale Armour

Emma: Tyran Blue is a lovely bright blue shade that looks great over light blues, and also creates some esoteric colour combinations when applied over silver and gold. Iron Hands Steel with a coat of Tyran Blue and a Stormhost Silver highlight gives you lovely magical steel, for instance. Soulblight Grey is perfect for adding a more subtle depth to your miniatures. If you’re a fan of Drakenhof Nightshade but need something a little lighter, this Shade is for you.

Discussion

The Dark Angels – The Dark Angels are a secretive and mysterious chapter of Space Marines who are known for their stealthy, covert operations. Their armor is typically depicted as dark and shadowy, with hints of green and purple. Ionrach Skin paint would be a great choice for painting the Dark Angels, as it has a muted, shadowy quality that would complement their stealthy aesthetic. So, without further ado, on to this guide, which covers the Namarti Thralls of the Idoneth Deepkin: Hair:Dechala Lilac, Shade with a watered down carrobug crimson via medium and then highlight with a dechala and white scar mix.

Going on what Bryan said though, his method does seem sound, but I'm not sure if it's Ironrach Skin. Ironrach Skin is much more greenish. I'd say it's a more grey-based colour for the skin. Most P3 Paints do not match closely with the old GW range, but a detailed explanation of each paint can be found here: http://www.brushthralls.com/pre-painting-prep/color-theory-10p3.html Emma: Spooky but soft at the same time, Soulblight Grey shades with a light grey tone, perfect for the ghoulish skin and dirty bones of Grand Alliance Death models. I like using it over Screaming Skull for that weathered Deathrattle Skeleton bone, then drybrushing up from there. It’s the start of a new month, which can only mean one thing – it’s time to announce the miniature and coin of the month for March. I'd really suggest playing around with that some until you get the skin tone that you want before digging into your models, either on a sacrifice model or some sprue, etc.You may have to modify this, play with it a bit, maybe make a mix of Drakenhof Nightshade, Carrowburg Crimson, and Lahmian Medium to shade with instead for a more ruddy, less vibrant shade, or even a mix of Guilliman Blue, Bloodletter Red, and Lahmian Medium. It may also help to mix 1:1 Ionrach Skin:Slaanesh Grey as the base color. You may also want to look at Rakarth Flesh in the mix or some such. Ionrach Skin, shaded with Drakenhof Nightshade, cleaned up with Ionrach Skin, layered with Deepkin Flesh, layered with 1:1 Deepkin Flesh:Pallid Wych Flesh, and highlighted with Pallid Wych Flesh For the teats on the Fiends, I'd say: Daemonette Hide, shaded with Druichii Violet, then highlighted with Slaanesh Grey.
