Jan 5-8 – The highly anticipated Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend begins and moderate to heavy crowds come into the parks for a few days. Flame Tree Barbeque, Animal Kingdom – Relaxing BBQ featuring an outdoor pavilion with amazing views of Animal Kingdom. In general, the parks where the attraction or show is located will see the largest impact, but it isn’t unusual for all the parks to see a temporary surge in crowds. Storms (especially midday storms) will also likely be a factor, so we highly recommend you plan midday breaks from the sun and rain during your trip.
