About this deal

The Sneetches: Because the Star-Bellied Sneetches are being prejudicial to the Plain-Bellied Sneetches, a "fix-it-up chappie" named Sylvester McMonkey McBean appears and offers the Sneetches without stars a chance to have them by going through his Star-On Machine. Adapted into a 1973 television special. I Am Not Going to Get Up Today! plus The Shape of Me and Other Stuff, Great Day for Up! and In a People House (final VHS in Dr. Seuss's lifetime and mistakable credits as I Am Not Going to Get Up Today!, Great Day for Up!, The Shape of Me and Other Stuff and In a People House) In May of 1954, Life published a report concerning illiteracy among school children. The report said, among other things, that children were having trouble to read because their books were boring. This inspired Geisel's publisher, and prompted him to send Geisel a list of 400 words he felt were important, asked him to cut the list to 250 words (the publishers idea of how many words at one time a first grader could absorb), and write a book. Nine months later, Geisel, using 220 of the words given to him published The Cat in the Hat, which went on to instant success.

Mr. Brown Can MOO! Can You? is Dr. Seuss's Book of Wonderful Noises and explores with children the sounds they hear everyday, and how to mimic them!Morgan, Judith; Morgan, Neil (1995). Dr. Seuss & Mr. Geisel. Random House. pp. 119–120. ISBN 0-679-41686-2. The Cat in the Hat stars a cheerful and exotic Cat that brings chaos to the house of two young kids on a rainy day while their mother is out. Hop on Pop plus Oh Say Can You Say? and Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now! (mistakable VHS/DVD covers as Hop on Pop plus Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now! and Oh Say Can You Say?) And where two books were published in the same year, I did my best to find the original publishing date and sort them chronologically. Green Eggs and Ham plus The Tooth Book and Ten Apples Up On Top! (mistakable VHS/DVD covers and VHS tapes as Green Eggs and Ham plus Ten Apples Up On Top! and The Tooth Book)

Celebrate your unique self with Dr. Seuss and the Great Birthday Bird in the ultimate birthday book! About the many amazing 'thinks' one can think and the endless possibilities and dreams that imagination can create. One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish is a freewheeling plot about a boy and a girl and the many amazing creatures they meet. The title story concerns a boy who brags that he can fight 30 tigers and win. However, he makes excuse after excuse, finally disqualifying all the tigers until he must fight no tigers at all. The illustrations are notable for their use of gouache and brush strokes rather than the usual pen and ink. Other stories include King Looie Katz, another warning against hierarchical society advocating self-reliance, and The Glunk That Got Thunk about the power of run-away imagination. Dr. Seuss was born Theodor Geisel in the spring of 1904 in Springfield, Missouri. He attended Dartmouth College for school, later going on to study at Oxford University. Helen Palmer Geisel died in 1967. Theodor Geisel married Audrey Stone Diamond in 1968. Theodor Seuss Geisel died 24 September 1991. The Lorax chronicles the plight of the environment and the Lorax (a mossy, bossy man-like creature resembling an emperor tamarin), who speaks for the trees against the greedy Once-ler. Adapted into a 1972 television special, a 2012 feature length CGI film, and a 2018 musical. Feldman, Kate (2021-03-02). "Six Dr. Seuss books to stop being published over 'hurtful and wrong' portrayals". New York Daily News . Retrieved 2021-03-02.
