I love listening along to the songs that are mentioned during certain scenes, it adds so much to these scenes and i love that Rosa does this! We have Ash... who's the leader of the group and takes the longest to finally give in to his desire for his 'princess'. He's broken in so many ways and Lilly just wants to help him to heal. Even though she has her own healing to do. But she's really the light to Ash's darkness and they need each other desperately. then she steps out of the bathroom obviously in a towel only to meet the 4 hottest guys ever and find out she lives with them. then the guy who she calls lucifer tells her she can't have the room that is empty for whatever reason and girly decides that she's just gonna sleep in the room of the guy who just dried her of bcs sleeping on the sofa is no option at all.

the book itself was okay. The writing was mediocre at best. somethings were so weirdly described that i couldn't even figure out what the author meant by them. Released gave me a found family feel, especially with certain unalivings that happen in this book, Lilly and the knights clearly don’t need anyone else other than each other. All of these characters go on such a journey, all experiencing trauma and hell bent on revenge.We've belonged to each other since the moment of our conception, Lilly Darling. Don't get me wrong.Lilly is dealing with some things about her mother, Jax is dealing with the aftereffects of his withdrawal, Kai isnt acting like himself, Ash is healing for a surprise piercing and Loki is his usual happy adorable self. The relationships between them all have only grown stronger and I adore how much they all love and care for each other thru everything they face. I also never thought i would say this- but there is such thing as too much sex? Maybe the focus being on that is why there was so many glaring issues in the story?

Diving into this, I knew it was gonna be somewhat mysterious but I didn't think I would have as many questions as I do while already making plans to dive into the next book in this series - the cliffhanger in this one is a killer! Captured is the first book in a scorching dark contemporary romance, where our bold leading lady won't have to choose. Boundaries will be crossed, both figuratively and literally.
