Amazing views and a great place to visit from Belstone in winter when it has snowed. Together they provide an excellent example of internationally important western oakwood with its associated bird and lower plant communities. To make the walk a little less challenging, you could still do it in 2 long days, but (a) only in good weather, and (b) without camping, if you have car support. Thank you to everyone taking part in the Ten Tors event for supporting Donate for Dartmoor. You’re helping us to look after and care for the moor so that we can all enjoy it for years to come.
