About this deal

Aura Garrido ( The Innocent) as Marina Quiroga, a girl with a detective's soul but who cannot join the police force. Once you get passed that, as it is very annoying, there is actually a decent mystery to be solved. That is, despite the clues often coming incredibly easy to Marina while everybody stumbles around to catch up.

In my opinion, this show was fabulous and mind-blowing.This series has all the elements we want to see in a top-class series and in a good detective show. If you watch only the first episode of this series, then your interest will increase in this series. Its characters and mystery will start to interest you. The mystery of this series will keep you engaged from a decent start. And what are the investigation processes of Mariana and the actors of this show They are actually watchable? And you will find a fun kind of relationship dynamic between Mariana and Hector. As to the keystone comedy type chase scenes and some of the other supposedy amusing touches. Unnecessary and they don't work in what should have and could have been a serious piece of drama and been directed and written that way. I don't know what it is, but although Jean Reno is one of our favourite French actors, he just doesn't work here in the role of the butler. Neither my wife nor myself could put our finger on it but he just wasn't convincing. We don't know why, but he doesn't work. When the bodies of several women begin to appear marked and creating a clear pattern, Marina decides to hunt down what is unmistakably a ruthless and lethal serial killer, but with a narcissistic edge that has managed to slip under the radar of the police, less aware than she of the latest scientific advances. Within the first 15 minutes it’s clear the Tavianis have sadly turned a work of literary depth into more of a middle-brow romance novel with a standard historical setting. The caretaker hints that Fulvia and Giorgio did more than play piano together, causing an intense pang of jealousy that makes Milton determined to find his friend and learn the truth. Could his beautiful idol have besmirched his notion of her virginity by anything so vulgar as a roll in the hay? Milton needs to know, but when he locates the right partisan group, he discovers that Giorgio’s been captured by the fascists. What follows is a desperate attempt to find a fascist prisoner who can be exchanged for his erstwhile friend. It doesn't take her long to figure out that it is a serial killer at work and all the clues lead to the ‘blue house' and an underground elite prostitution ring. I thought the novel was harsh and brutal, but in a very good way. There were no rose coloured glasses when showing the true nature of some soldiers or how they treat their wives. It felt very real, and the characters of the woman simply brought the book to life. A sense of trepidation crept over me while I was reading, that far off sense of fear that cannot be places. Le protagoniste, infatti, sono Sam, Dani, Abby e Meaghan: quattro donne molte diverse caratterialmente, fisicamente, origini e vissuto ma allo stesso tempo hanno qualcosa in comune (un uomo e l'esercito).

The story is set up in the 1940s in Galicia, therefore the series has maintained a very vintage and chic vibe. The series takes us through how a young lady called Marina Quiroga, an upper-class woman, who hates how society works by giving men the dominating power sets out to prove herself and achieve her dreams by catching a serial killer who has been a threat to her city for a long time. She is also accompanied by her butler in this mission. Aura Garrido plays the role of Martina Quiroga whereas Hector the butler (a man who always can help Martina conclude the investigation) is played by Jean Reno. I’ll start off by saying that I actually really enjoyed the main characters in this book; however; was a little disappointed when it got to the end and only 3/4 of the characters had actually met. Not only did they not even meet Dani; they were never even aware of her story. Therefore while I really enjoyed Dani’s story; it kind of made her a bit pointless. I was looking forward to seeing how she’d interact with the other 3 but nothing ever materialised so that was quite disappointing. First off you need to know that the Spanish dubbing is truly awful, so switch to subtitles from the beginning.Set in the Spain of 1940s, A Private Affair revolves around Marina Quiroga’s resolute determination to find a serial killer. She is a bold upper caste girl who has the genes of a detective but cannot join the police force due to gender inequality. With the help of her loyal butler, Hèctor, Marina decides to trap the killer terrorizing her city Galicia. Un asunto privado', la serie grabada en Vigo y Pontevedra, ya tiene fecha de estreno". El Español (in Spanish). 23 June 2022 . Retrieved 25 September 2022. Though Marina is the one with the natural gift for police work, it is her brother Arturo, played by Gorka Otxoa, who is stepping into their late father’s sizable shoes and who is being appointed as the new chief of police. When the time comes to rattle through thanking family members in his acceptance speech, all are present and correct – except Marina. She’s off to the harbour to collect her contraband delivery of smuggled detective magazines and periodicals. As ever, Hector covers up for her. But once she is there, she discovers a murdered woman and she also disturbs the killer – the two fight, and he gets away, but, not before Marina can swipe a patch of his coat. The game is afoot.

Why is the fact Tom cheated never elaborated on again? It definitely felt out of place that Meaghan wouldn’t have brought it up. It was just another sub-plot that didn’t really add anything to the story. The casting is solid (who knew famous French actor Jean Reno was also fluent in Spanish!), but the characters are deliberately dumbed down to ensure that Marina comes across as the only intelligent person in the show. A Private Affair has a scintillating pace that never goes lollygagging, even during emotional sequences. Despite being placed in the 1940s, it doesn’t feel archaic. It throws open a mystery in the first episode without wasting time on fluff, thereby allowing you to immerse in its idea. InvigoratingI felt the camaraderie between Aura Garrido and Jean Reno worked as a charm for the series. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been this refreshing. Performances In the end, I learned an effective new method of carrying excessive luggage and I also solved the Mysterious Case of The Missing Station. Like the dog that did not bark in the night, Marleybone turned out not to be missing at all.
